Looks like getting blown up by artillery in bf2 haha
I hate when I am just being the sniper my team needs, On a roof taking out Gunners on tanks and RPGs then ARTY hits me and I fly off the roof...
You, sir, are unbelievably dense. You make a plank of wood seem smart. What do you not understand about these guys shooting civilians being blackmailed into doing it? Are you seriously telling me you'd say "No fuck you" to a Military force that openly executes civilians and soldiers even AFTER they threaten to kill your family? You'd be extremely thick if you did so, because not only would they kill your family, they'd kill you. I'm not saying ALL these soldiers are blackmailed, but a vast majority are. Stop being so narrow-minded. Complimentary: [editline]23rd July 2012[/editline] PS: Those Kamikaze pilots did not choose to fly their planes into the enemy. It goes against all survival instincts. Yes, they wanted to fight for their country, but a damn many of them did not want to fly a plane into the enemy ships. They did it to protect their families back at home.
are you sure?> I was always under the impression it was a great honor for japanese people to die for their country.
It almost looks like they were just sitting there in lawn chairs with a few cold beers, waiting for it to happen.
What do you think the war in the middle east is like if not just that?
are you sure?> I was always under the impression it was a great honor for japanese people to die for their country.
Sure it was. But that doesn't mean they were willing to do it just for the honor. They also consumed drugs like heroin before they flew to help them go through with it.
No it was meth not heroin, heroin wouldnt really help you go through with it youd just feel like chilling the fuck out instead.
are you sure?> I was always under the impression it was a great honor for japanese people to die for their country.
Honour is a huge part of the Japanese culture, but during the war, Generals realized that shit was hitting the fan and they realized that they weren't hitting America hard enough; what did they decide to do? "Okay, men. After all your ammo is spent, don't return to base if you can't make it. Instead, dive bomb them to inflict massive damage." Of course, not every man would want to die that way, so a few were reluctant. Generals would then threaten their families which would give the soldiers no option but to kamikaze.
From the looks of it, they were cheering because they were surprised that it just happened. It's sort of like one of those moments where you're like, "Holy shit! Did I really just see that?"
lol @ the people shaming the people cheering that sniper probably killed a fuckton of innocent civilians or rebels alike, his death was for a greater cause anyhow
Also, a lot of us aren't so much at shaming the people cheering as we are shaming the Facepunchers who are saying "haha stupid fuck, fuck yeah, he deserves that" without looking at the bigger picture is. Fact of the matter is: we have no idea what the situation is behind that. You are definitely right, he would have shot so many civilians, without differentiating between man, woman and child. However, we will never understand his situation or his predicament. He may have been blackmailed into his position, he may abhor shooting civilians, we will never know. Personally, what I don't like is the fact that most FPers are cheering and laughing at his death. I just feel it isn't right when you don't even know the situation the man was in. I can't even fathom how horrible it must be knowing you're going to die for an action you've been forced to commit in order to save your family that you love so dearly. Knowing that you are doing this for THEM, yet still knowing you will never be able to hold your wife or children again. It's fucking heartbreaking. So I just feel people have to stop being so narrow-minded.
Oh right so if your family might die it's a-ok to go out shooting other peoples families
alright, let me paint a picture for you here: you're a soldier with the standard family setup; wife and kids, a household pet. all of a sudden, there's this big huge civil war and everyone's killing everyone else - it's complete chaos and you and your family are right in the middle of it. one of your commanding officers says that he can keep your family safe, but you'll have to work for him, first. if not, he'll either leave them in the middle of the war, or he'll kill them himself shortly before he kills you. would you not do what he asks to keep them safe?
After months of ruthless oppression of the regime and zero tolerance against dissent, watching my neightbours die. I sure as hell would be happy to see one of these bastards go down.

Very amusing combo :v:
