also i believe halo 5 has the best multiplayer of the series
I wouldn't say I liked the Library, but I always felt like Keyes was a much, much worse level with a stupid, confusing layout.
I think without a doubt Halo reach killed the Halo series after that you've either got to ignore it completely or work with it and that's what Halo 4 did they worked with the mess that was Halo reach.
Other than the game mechanics from Halo reach, Halo 4 was fun and had an interesting plot.
My favourite part of Halo 4's plot was it not making any god damn sense if you weren't intimately familiar with a bunch of expanded universe stuff. It was clearly written by hardcore fanboys for hardcore fanboys, leaving people who just played the games to have fun in the dust.

It actually wasn't even written by hardcore fans since all the EU stuff it uses is the dumb shit that 343i came up with.
I just want armor to not look like hard plastic.
Halo 4 and 5 multiplayer character customization means nothing when it looks like they forgot to thin the paints on every armor.
Facepunch has always hated Halo. I'm surprised it still gets posted on here. It's always a circlejerk about how bad the series is now.
I don't like playing halo. Just don't find it fun compared to other shooters. The campaigns enjoyable, but when it comes to multiplayer, I'm more of a coked up arena shooter kind of person.
But you know what? I respect it. Under Bungie, it didn't change for the sake of change. Both in single and multiplayer. It stayed true to what it was. No iron sights. A good weapons mix. Good mechanics. Great maps. Excellent matchmaking and other online features. Couple that with good storytelling, a well fleshed out universe, and an incredible orchestral score, and you've got a winner.
So what if they aren't exactly my cup of tea. So what if they all had their share of issues. They were, and are, good games.

the library is great if you prepare and actually get decent guns beforehand, you actually end up actually thinking about strategy
halo 5 mp is plenty of fun, but it's sure different

Except for that one room.
You know which one I'm talking about.

Reach had by far the best character customization imo, that game had some great armor design
I like the library because it's so batshit insane, it really puts you to the test. As well as being all alone, save for some crazy AI and a bunch of mutated enemies and friends that all want to swarm you.
