It's not me attacking or defending unless you take it that way (And I've flat out said I don't really give a shit and even explained I'm just frustrated that game grumps has, in my opinion damaged Arin's animating skills, although I will ultimately probably forget about it in a few days anyway.) It's a discussion. Which you apparently have no grasp of definition wise.

People are pissed off because of the hype that Arin put into it. He said many times that it wasn't going to be too funny but the joke was going to pay off in the end. It didn't, which is why people are disappointed. I mean it did take him 8 months and it was over-hyped by himself. It would have been great if he never hyped it, but since he did people's imaginations went wild and thought it was going to be the best ending to an animation ever. Yadda yadda disappointment ensues.
It was alright. I'm glad he tried something new with this one instead of just doing the same kind of jokes he did in PokeAwesome 1.
I honestly just want more Sequlitis. Or Metal Gear Awesome 3.

i just can't believe egoraptor of all people would go for such a lame ending joke, i mean he's generally against easy jokes like that, that's kind of a game grumps joke and not something i expected to see in an actual animation of his. i do have to say that the facial animation on the "DEFEATED NOW BITCH" was really good, though.
maybe he just went with a spontaneous idea and didn't think about it. i can see that. i'm sure he'll learn from this, it's not like he meant for this to be bad, he seems to be passionate about making cartoons and will probably be smart enough to take criticism on board.
If Ash just walked out and Brock made a super-detailed (and funny) sad face with some sad piano playing for 3 seconds it would have been funnier.
i liked it a lot. very happy he didn't just try to reuse the same joke as the first one.

The reason why it takes so long is because Egoraptor has stated that he has very strict quality control on it to make sure that he doesn't have any holes in his argument and what he's trying to say.
I believe he stated that the Megaman one was on its eighth or ninth rewrite before he was happy with it.
Considering the touchy subject he's going into, I can understand why it'd take ages.

There's nothing really bad about this one, I just feel that the first was better imo.

I thought the reason they stopped playing it was because Ego wanted to "save his super secret thoughts" or whatever for the Sequelitis. That and Game Grumps rarely finish games from what I've seen.
It started out and I was confused by the dislikes, then it continued, then it ended. The build up was far too long, and the joke was meh. Not the continuous laughs I'm used to from ego....

Maybe I'm just broken but I think it would've been much funnier if Brock's wife had been an inanimate Nurse Joy pillow throughout the whole thing
