It's not so much that there's anything wrong with it, its just getting old. Microsoft now considers it in extended support, which means nothing but bare minimum security and stability updates. Much like XP was.
Also no native support for USB 3.0 and other things that 8 and 10 added.
w8 usb3 drivers were extremely bad, I had so much trouble with them
couldn't use anything that wasn't usb3 in my usb3 ports, and actually ended up having freezes because of it eventually. So slow and awful
I'd rather no native drivers than terrible drivers and no ability to fall back to intels.

That's odd, I have no issue with them.
I think aero was great. :poot:

There are a lot of things that aero did right, which still remain in the operating systems

Vista's taskbar was prettier than 7's.

You can make the taskbar in 7 look pretty much identical to the one in Vista by right clicking on it and selecting "use small icons"
But I never said that Windows 8 sucks if that's what you thought I ment, I even liked Window Vista more than XP when I had my first PC built. The boot times were insane.
This is the tool, I was talking about the forced driver updates, which were optional in previous versions of Windows.

Otherwise I always liked metro in Windows 8, I liked to pin important programs on it.

You are being a little bit too defensive about this in my mind, if some people don't like the OS you are using, or if they complain about some flaws then you should probably just talk about something else instead :v:
It's honestly a knee-jerk reaction, sorry. I'm so used to every complaint about 8 being asinine at best and objectively wrong at worst. I used your little tid-bit as a jumpstart to rant on about the general crtiticisms I've seen about the OS, majority of which wasn't targeted at you at all.

Yeah it's okay I'm not the kind to hold grudges over this stuff :v:
But like, what I ment is that you shouldn't take it too personally seeing as some people might not react too well but eh, screw them :v: I mean as long as your arguments are okay I guess it doesn't really matter either way.
Thanks anyway though.

The funny thing is this is the only way I can use the task bar. II like having my Windows split into different buttons with small icons.
