You can use micro USB if you like your controllers with cables.
Will this controller work with emulators?
Will this controller work with emulators?
Internally, it's a keyboard and mouse. So yes, it'll work with anything that supports keyboard controls. If you run it as a non-Steam game through the Steam client, you'll be able to rebind the controller inputs to different keyboard/mouse/xinput commands.
I have hard time imagining that you CANT recharge it via USB. I mean, its fucking 2015. Also, the fact that it has AA batteries instead of a custom battery, is good. Because it's easy to fix if the battery life starts acting out.
I'd imagine that they can't have the controller charge the batteries because your gonna have people who put in normal batteries, and I'm pretty sure nothing good comes out of recharging standard batteries. Last thing they want is houses burning down because of kids putting normal batteries in and leaving the controller plugged in
Odd, on my end it's been "out of stock" since yesterday. [t]http://puu.sh/idjlH.png[/t]
It costs 55 euro over here in Europe, no thanks Valve. Europe is getting screwed over again with the "dollars = euro" conversion.
Well let's be honest, that's kinda the cost of a ps4 controller as well.
This is going to be great for playing emulators with other people.
I don't like it. I do like the buttons on the grip. I think if they took the Xbox controller we have now, moved the bumpers to the grips like the Steam Controller, it would be perfect I see this being more useful as say, something to use for your Nintendo Wii emulator
