I don't have strong preferences to either gender in RPGs Don't see anything wrong with playing female characters, the ass excuse is just unnecessary I'm comfortable enough in my own body that I don't find playing as a female "weird" or "icky" because they have cooties or whatever Playing as the default sword and shield Nord male for my first playthrough though
Gotta say, Skyrim looks awesome. Such a shame I haven't gotten to play it, but I'll be glad when I'm in that awesome world.
Anyone who doesnt play male is a closet homosexual and or crossdresser.
Because it really matters what you identify with, right?
Well when you make the character look like you, it's easy to identify with it, because it's you just in a different world. When you make a character that looks nothing like you, you can still identify with it, sort of becoming that character for the time you're playing. Maybe you want to look like that, conscious or subconscious. When people go "just don't feel like looking at guy's ass" I'm curious whether or not they identify with the character.
Well I generally make a female character because I feel they are more aesthetic then a male. I don't know if it's sexual, or just a preference, but I feel women just have a more flowing, graceful body then men. Can you really blame me for creating a character that looks good? I mean I'm going to be looking at it for the entire playthrough.

Also, they all have the same animations lol. I won't argue that you can't play the character you want to play. Some people play it like they're playing a character, some people play it like they're playing an avatar. Some are in between. If people want a female character and they're male, fine. If they want a female avatar and they're male, okay, whatever, doesn't affect me I guess. No reason to poke my nose around, anybody who spends their time on the internet "rooting out closet gays or crossdressers" is probably a lot more pathetic than the person they're accusing

To each his own
This is always the excuse, and it's ridiculous. Why would you wanna be looking at virtual ass when you could actually be playing the game properly?
I can do both at once.
I enjoyed your video. I hate spiders too, definitely know where your coming from. And I will take your advice to heart run straight at a sleeping bear, nothing bad can come of it. :eng101:
Glad you enjoyed it :) & yeah I have a massive phobia of Spiders!
Anyone who doesnt play male is a closet homosexual and or crossdresser.
I play as female and I'm homosexual. 'Sup?
Im not a big fan of RPGs but this looks awesome
It is a big improvement over the other Elder Scrolls, it has a great game play, really smooth. I'm not a big fan of the way you switch weapons and abilities, but over all I really like the game.
27:54. Best part.

Then I pretend that he was the one kid in school that no one liked and is now getting his revenge on everything. I thought this was normal.
couldn't help but think ADD when I heard "Now this is my first experience with the ga- ooh look its a dragon"
I never really identify with my character, I kinda feel like ive possesed someone and am dictating what they have to do :v:
Female Brenton Hottie
I prefer to play a a female character, but make them look like me. Mostly 'cause I'd rather consider my self female.
i'd rather play it then watch someone playe it
