Yeah bullshit it's getting praise for being a "good" mobile game. We all know what's going on.
We know for a fact the imore or whatever site she is best friends with the writer who gave her the award -most other ones are low-key and are probably just copying what other sites are saying.
Let's see those arguments before you start rating everybody dumb/funny eh?
As I said before, were going to see who's in it for the politics and who's in it for fairness when it comes out.
I'd advise you actually do look at what people consider 'good' mobile games and the kinds of praise that mobile games do get, this is nothing out of the ordinary for that market.
I predict that the only people who are going to buy this game on Steam are:
- Pro-gamergaters so they can legally obtain game footage to mock it
- Anti-ggers to support Wu and say fuck-you to gamers; I predict at least half will never even install it, let alone play it
- Really stupid gullible people
- People who want to give their friends something other than Bad Rats when it inevitably goes on sale for like 10 cents in the next major Steam sale
Looks boring, will pass.
The female robots in this game are called Geishabots.
This is not played as some kind of laugh. This is serious.
That is the most mysogonistic thing I have ever seen in a videogame. Jesus Christ. My god.
If sites don't give it a good reviews, they get blacklisted and called a misogynist cis scum pool of a webzone. oooor money is being handed under the table, who knows lmao.
Let's be absolutely honest here, this game is horse shit. Doesn't deserve anything.
where do you think the funding went
I really hope this game doesn't get greenlit in response to people voting it down in mass numbers. This is a lazy iOS port and it doesn't belong on Steam. It doesn't even attempt to hide that it's a game made for your phone.

if this is being compared to infinity blade or games like might and magic, then no I don't get the point you're making here.
downvotes do very little, just removes the game from your greenlight queue I believe. Cant wait to see It hit steam, the steam reviews themselves will be worth it.

Steam has far far worse out in the store right now.

It lowers your approval rating and the entire point of Greenlight is to determine whether it's even worth putting up on Steam. Given that Mrs. Wu is extremely volatile, personally I wouldn't want to give her access to the backend of my service.

To be fair, those games weren't released on other platforms. We know this one is bad. Also there's much better games that have gone unnoticed on Greenlight and ones that have been noticed and haven't been Greenlit.

Hey, if you ever want an example of how deluded she is, she is a member of a single steam group that is named after herself, where the only content is random games that she's arbitrarily decided support how she feels women should be represented in videogames. 90% of which are games where women are barely characters.
Ibuki, Poison, and Xiaoyu all have attractions to Jin.
If Rolento switches to his partner, he will call some males "Maggot" or "Private", all females (excluding Ibuki, Poison, Juri, or Nina) "Woman"
When tagging out his partner, Sagat will call any female character (except Poison, Juri, and Nina) "Girl".
Poison and Ibuki both have romantic attractions to Jin and Steve in their win quotes. Ibuki says to Jin, "You'd be really hot if you weren't so gloomy", and to Steve, "You're kinda my type, but I don't go out for guys who are weaker then me." Poison says to Jin, "Mmmm...You got the looks but everything else about you is just to flat," and to Steve, "Was that simulating enough for you? I'll play with you anytime!"
Marduk has a romantic attraction to Poison saying, "Meh, I don't sweat the small stuff. You're hot, that's all I care about!"
Aside from the fact that you can pick a girl character and beat the shit out of the male characters with her, how is this a feminist game? :v:

ah but that's the trap card there
you try to attack her for supporting it and she counters that she's supporting a trans person and their right to feel secure in their sexuality
I hadn't paid much attention to Final Fight canon, but Poison's gender seems half-ambiguous, half-localization meddling.
But either way, Wu is a terrible attention whore.

Oh my god! My high school literature teacher (Jill Melancon) did the voice acting for this! She was a horrible feminist who spent a majority of the class talking a bunch of shit about male characters in books. Also, instead of teaching school material, she would rant about how sexist the yearbook was (because it called girls cute and was oppressing women by forcing them to look appealing for men). I think she got fired.
I knew immediately that it was her because I remember one time during class, she showed us that she was an amateur voice actor, and she played a clip of that stupid motorcycle scene from the trailer. That's so crazy. This was also my junior year of high school, so like 2011-2012ish.
What a small fucking world.

Oh my.
Amanda Winn Lee, a great voice actor who voiced Yukiko from Persona, Heather Mason in the Silent Hill HD Collection and plenty of other games.
Voiced Criminal 09 in Revolution 60.
How much where they paying these people? It has to be very damn low if they half ass the voice acting.

Well the budget was only 12 grand.
Well the budget was only 12 grand.
Didn't she get 200k from the kickstarter and 250k from her parents?
Mount & Blade, AFAIK was also made with less than 5 people. And that game is HUGE.
Didn't she get 200k from the kickstarter and 250k from her parents?
12.7k funding for the game itself from Kickstarter, 200k from her parents to set up the company.
According to said kickstarter page though they planned to put about 40k into the game total, but that was assuming 5k kickstarter, so I'm incorrect, by those numbers the actual budget would be 47.7 grand.
I'd need to dig up some data on development time and cost of living in her state for me to figure out just how much of that budget could've been left open to voice acting, then divide that amongst the voice cast, give me a bit to crunch the numbers.
FRACT OSC was made by 3 people, with a collaborator in the home stretch for tuning the music puzzles.
Compare this to Wu's shit:

They have vague affiliations with the Montreal indie gaming scene, which includes Phil Fish, but I haven't found any sign that they've been improper. The game is very good, if a bit short, for a musical puzzle/exploration game. It legit deserves the praise it's gotten.
