If she would have picked the fucker up and left instead of spending 10 minutes yelling at him to get up she probably would have avoided a lot of embarrassment and not have pissed everyone else off. That's what my parents did, took me out to the fucking car and beat my ass and guess what? I stopped doing it. You act nice they learn it's okay, you let them know it's not okay and they won't do it anymore.

Bad parenting was probably part of the issue but some kids are just more dramatic than others.

Well yea, herp derp, if your child isn't captain rocks for brains he'll put 2 and 2 together and see that what he is doing is wrong and that there is consequences for doing such things.
You also have to take into account that children just dont give a fuck, seriously, i worked in a daycare for years and kids around 2-4 years old are always punching, kicking, and just being total dickheads to one-another, they don't learn that what they do makes others feel bad till around age 5-6
