The things that look ok look that good because they're drawing symbols. They've replaced [img]http://www.clipartpal.com/_thumbs/00200022748_tns.png[/img] with [img]http://www.clker.com/cliparts/A/m/2/W/O/S/anime-eye-md.png[/img] .

They don't draw based on the 3 dimensional shape of an eyeball sized and placed in relationship to the rest of the elements in the drawing, they just place that symbol at the alloted space inside of their face symbol. It's a left brained analytical approach to a right brained perceptual activity, and as long as they approach drawing this way they will never achieve the results they're really capable of.

The story might be bad, but who watches porn for story? The fetishes are weird in your opinion, but people will be into whatever they're into. The art, on the other hand, is objectively bad for fundamental reasons that are well understood.
