All this because a Youtuber is happy to play the new release of his favorite game series.
And to anyone claiming he's playing it up for sponsors, the following is from his website:

It's just a dumb close-minded and envious thing to see someone being energetic and go "well they are faking it, no reason to be so happy, harumph!"

I know this isn't a response to me but a 2 things:
I don't mind fake enthusiasm, as long as the result is quality. Simply put I find NerdCubed's scripted comedy funny and I don't find PewDiePie's scripted 'comedy' funny. It's a subjective matter.
NerdCubed is genuinely happy to be doing this, ages before Just Cause 3 was announced he made it very clear that Just Cause 2 was one of his favorite games of all time. He's faking it to an extent, like how when I'm angry in a game I just naturally make it seem like I'm more angry than I actually am, or in a room full of people I laugh louder, but he genuinely loves the game and it shows.

i'll admit that i've been very irritable for a long time now due to personal problems i'll never discuss online, and that I went over the top, and apologize. But my points are still valid if you bar the hostility. Saying someone has an "over the top reaction" basically implies forced enthusiasm.

Alright, well maybe I've seen too many lets players and such have the same kind of attitude who definitely are faking it, and he's reminding me of them. Regardless if he is faking it or not, it's how he's coming off to me.

It's certainly a reason to make up the excuse that Dan's personality is disingenuine. He is the same way when he [I]isn't[/I] making videos, it's just how he is. Also people who see someone happy and with energy and react with spite really piss me off.

I'm going to assume, going by this statement, that you've never played games with friends.
Because this kind of enthusiasm Nerd3 is showing is the exact kind of enthusiasm I show when I play locally or online with friends.

This is subjective, and not a valid argument for the discussion at hand. If anything though, you're just proving my point.
In fact, this can all be boiled down to exactly that - opinions. You don't find video games this fun. He does. Is that such a difficult concept to grasp?

He's the same way with all of his videos, from his weight loss series, to his Lego series, to his sketch comedy with other YouTubers. I genuinely think he's just always this excited, or he's doing a very good job of faking it. I guess, to me, he just seems happy most of the time, and I wonder if we're just not used to seeing happy people in entertainment.

He's like this in live streams lasting hours. He enjoys what he does.
I really like Dan and I watch his videos daily, but I can see how some people may be off put buy the heavily edited play series.

I think he can say some dumbass stuff, but I've never seen an indication he's forcing it, he's just a bit of a spazz which can be fun.
