What are you talking about? Killing a Winston as a Mercy for example is just as satisfying.
I don't think Winston's ticklegun poses that much of a threat compared to Mercy's pocket sized howitzer.
But there's a layer of strategy in deciding to use your Q, it's a resource. Spending it on a 1v1 is probably a waste.
It also makes every single push a tickle fest at choke until everyone presses Q at the same time. Wathcing the game competetively, every single push involves Reinhardt pressing Q and people whacking corpses on the ground. Or he flubs it and the other reinhardt presses Q and the same thing happens.
I mean I don't even play OW anymore, and I don't think it's that great but Oizen, that's not really a very accurate way to summarize the gameplay from a players experience. knowing the window/timing for when you should do something is fairly critical in that game.
But he has a point though. The game lacks any sort of depth aside from ult synergy and when/how to use them to their fullest effect. It's just very bland and boring to watch since every game more or less plays the same. Yeah it can be casual fun for a good while, but ultimately on a competetive setting, teams will just ape the strategy proven most effective and will never change up from it until something drastic shakes up the meta(like hefty rebalances or introduction of new characters). There can be a meta and the game can still be interesting, but as it stands, Overwatch can't deliver on this aspect.
Overwatch isn't a competitive e-sports game for me to take seriously until they make hitboxes that don't do all the work of aiming for you.
I don't like overwatch because I suck at it.
