I can't figure out if that is music or random electronical sounds mashed together. So this is what getting old is like.
I miss the brute shot :(
I miss the brute shot :(
I found the brute shot pretty underpowered.
I miss the halo 1 fuel cannon (the pc version) where you could use it to kind of do a preliminary bombardment before attacking the base on blood gulch.
I miss the brute shot :(
Concussion rifle is better, it stops the weapon only being restricted to the brutes in the campaign.
Didn't hate the music, but god damn was it unfitting. That being said this game just looks fucking great.
It's made worse by the fact that Halo used to have my favorite game soundtrack. [editline]20th September 2012[/editline] The singing monks and fantastic orchestral pieces. Oh well. Marty was a tad better IMO but it's still fantastic.
Concussion Rifle, fuck yeah. Favorite weapon from Reach by far.
It's because halo 4's target demographic do nothing but make mlg montages.
HALO 420
I'm sorely disappointed at what Halo has become. From Halo: Combat Evolved to basically this psuedo-cyborgesque futuristic gaudy FPS? What a shame. Wow you guys have no respect for someone elses tastes. Terrible.
We're giving you dumbs because the basic premise of Halo has not changed at all. The core gameplay/story elements have been kept intact aside from the actual Halos since those are done and over with now.
I hope this comes to PC, Halo has always had awesome multiplayer.
Aside from cosmetics, the weapons aren't really any different.
Halos since those are done and over with now.
No they're not. There are still 6-9 installations of the Halo array left just waiting to be found. Although we destroyed the on place that can activate all they arrays, they can still be activated at the Halo's. We have yet to see the last of the Halo's, we might even encounter one in Halo 4.
They added a version with out the music! Added it to OP.

Damn it 343, what are you doing. That's the halo 1 needeler, it got upgraded in Halo 2. The only reason it looked like that in Reach is because that was a prequel.
Damn it 343, what are you doing. That's the halo 1 needeler, it got upgraded in Halo 2. The only reason it looked like that in Reach is because that was a prequel.
No, it looked like that in Reach because Bungie decided to model it that way.
Wait so, the Chief is on a new planet, fighting new enemies, but there are covenant weapons? I don't understand this plot.
Wait so, the Chief is on a new planet, fighting new enemies, but there are covenant weapons? They're not robots.

There are different variants of needler in the halo universe. It's been a few years in between Halo 3-4, technology advances. What's the point of complain about something so simple anyway, it's still the needler!
No, it looked like that in Reach because Bungie decided to model it that way.
No, they made it that way because if they made it look like the halo 3 needeler, people would ask why the bottom support was so long in the first game, yet not in the game set before it. This takes place after halo 3, and the needeler should look either upgraded or the same as the one in Halo 3.
The events of Halo Reach - the of 3 last 4 months. Yes, the game will be good, but it ticks me off when people start acting like "it's okay man, there's nothing wrong even though there is" And does anybody want to explain to me why the forrunners are magically alive after all this? Didn't the flood / the halo litterally wipe out all sentient life in the galaxy? It's like bringing back the dwemer in a new elder scrolls game and act like nothing happened and they were all just living in a giant cave under red mountain the entire time.

Oh and if you're implying that these new enemies are forerunners, they're actually not. They are a defense mechanism created BY the forerunners called the Prometheans.
It ticks me off even more when people complain about something so miniscule.
I could go into asking why the new Spartan program VR thing needs to teach people about weapons that literally nobody knew about until the events of Halo 4, or why the covenant even NEED to be in Halo 4 at all. After the prophets died, there was a giant civil war, and there's nothing there that the covenant wants, aside from the possibility that they might hold the keys to the "great journey", despite the fact that they'll just tell them that there is no great journey and the halo's were giant super weapons. But that's all i'll say, don't want to start a new flamewar or whatever. (And alright, looked it up, you were right on the Promethean thingies, i'll give you that)

There are different variants of the needler, just like many other weapons in the Halo universe. Why should it be the exact same model of the Halo 3 needler, and who are you to say what is "upgraded" compared to previous variants? The technology isn't coming from the Forward Unto Dawn, it's coming from the Storm Covenant faction. This looks a hell of alot more upgraded than Halo Reach's [t]http://download.halowaypoint.com/content/waypoint/assets/images/647a553d4740451c88379d8dda019f05/2820849-gallery.png[/t] [t]http://images.wikia.com/halo/ja/images/3/36/Needler.jpg[/t] And a hell of alot better looking design then [t]http://www.bungie.net/images/News/WeeklyUpdate/needler.jpg[/t] But guess what? They are all still the needler! This wouldn't be Halo without the Covenant, but they are the least of our concerns.
Am I the only one who wishes the Gravity Hammer had an assassination animation. Not for stealth. Just picture it. You sneak up behind "That guy" who's been camping with the rocket launcher all game, shout "FORE" and punt the fucker into the air with a nice golf swing.

rofl you guys make me fucking die if they add electro house like this you're all "WAAH DUBSTEP" but the minute they add something you like, say metallica or some other bullshit band that's out of fashion you'd be like "hooray finaly goode musike at last"
I think it was a bad decision to release this for the 360. I mean, yeah it looks great and a new Halo game is always awesome. But this would have been a much bigger deal if they made it one of the launch titles for the new Xbox.
