Most of them didn't, of the actual kids the only one who talked abnormally was the one who made the "Dedotated wam" joke, which was a reference to a kid who actually did have a speech impediment at a previous convention.

You're assuming that they didn't talk about the idea of marriage beforehand. They could have easily discussed it beforehand, and decided they wanted to marry each other but either A. wanted to wait a bit longer or B. wanted to have the actual proposal be in public, and a surprise.
I know plenty of people who have done both, it's kind of weird just to assume they've never talked about marriage.

It's really easy to talk shit about MineCon after watching a 10 minute excerpt from 2 days of content, but it was really fun this year. The day 1 evening entertainment was amazing. There were a bunch of indies showing off their games most of which were fun to play as well. I (and many thousands of other people) met up with friends they haven't seen in real life before.
Kids ([url=https://twitter.com/Dinnerbone/status/617332463141015552]and sometimes not kids[/url]) had a chance to meet their idols, learn basic programming at one of the booths and a handful of people got to play with Microsoft HoloLens.
Pretty sure everyone that went to the event left happily or sad that it was over.
