yo like, get it a lot of people pass off MGS because it can be a ~little~ tricky to get in to first even with that said GZ and most certainly TPP are a heck of a lot more beginner-friendly than some previous entries
It's less difficulty or anything, it's more money and if I think I will play this often enough.
well, MGS games have kind of ridiculous replayability value to a lot of people, but it depends on what kind of player you are i can't really play many levels more than a couple of times without getting bored, but i know people who like MGS and deus ex that can replay levels tens of times to achieve different goals and it's definitely a series that will facilitate that
a type of player that prefers fast paced and straight-to-the-point games probably won't enjoy MGS as much as someone willing to spend a few minutes studying patterns and try to stealth run the game [editline]18th June 2015[/editline] also MGS has a lot of cutscenes and "down time" where you don't have any gameplay and that seems to put a lot of people off calling it more of a movie than a video game lack of patience maybe?
yeah, be prepared to really take in the story and most of all be patient. it's about studying your environment and AI routines. you can play these games without taking those things in to mind, but you won't get the proper experience and the game will remind you of that along the way
-snip- nobody cares apparently.
have they confirmed yet whether custom music is doable on PC?
If I can't upload the Space Jam theme song and play it in my chopper this game is 0/10
Custom soundtracks?.........play MGS1 alert tune when you get spotted! :D
I noticed that there's a "Heroism" value that's affected by protecting your companions or stuff like that. Is this supposed to serve as a karma system or is it more of doing difficult things to unlock certain things?

MGS4 for example is the game that gets much easier because it allows you to do things you should have been able to do before, like crouch walking which is kind of a big thing, at least imo. It's still a bit tough sometimes, but its a lot easier due to the camera and the already mentioned crouch walking. Since TPP will have slightly differences in controls in comparison to GZ like new features and whatnot, its safe to say that TPP will control smooth as silk, and this is judging from PS3 gameplay. Imagine on next gen consoles or even PC. If it is, I'll be raiding bases at the sound of 2 Minutes to Midnight
Miller couldn't be blind then he wouldn't be able to give you feedback and intel over the radio right?
Miller couldn't be blind then he wouldn't be able to give you feedback and intel over the radio right?
It could be other people are watching and Miller just relays it to BB
If this isn't your chopper song you're wrong:
wish this was an august release
have they confirmed yet whether custom music is doable on PC?
I hope to god it is a feature or at least something that can modded in. I'd love to blare out Run to the Hills as you land at a hot LZ just mowing down redshirts with the minigun.

you're all doing it wrong this is objectively the best helicopter music
I really, REALLY hope there's more Hall & Oates. I need Out of Touch in my chopper.

Someone will mod it into the game within a couple days anyway if they don't though.
Miller couldn't be blind then he wouldn't be able to give you feedback and intel over the radio right?
Ocelot can do it

Final Countdown is available, my dreams of a hot extraction while being chased by a wave of the enemy forces and supersoldiers while it's blasting from the chopper can come true :')
