Y'all talk about insertion songs and nobody mentions the A-Team? Consider me disappointed.

Does the dramatic Kojima Productions zoom in mean anything in this? I know there's been struggle between Konami and Kojima, I wonder what it symbolizes if anything at all.
My only hope for adding custom music is to create a playlist of zany montage music for running through the sands of Afghanistan.

They removed a lot of "A HIDEO KOJIMA GAME" branding from their images. See: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2015-03-19-hideo-kojimas-name-removed-from-metal-gear-solid-5-branding
Since Kojima himself directed this trailer I guess he wants to say something like "Hey, this is still MY game."

They even removed the Kojima Productions from the latest trailer, the bastards.

no they didn't, in the E3 trailer/playthrough there's a badge he puts on his uniform at the end that says Kojima Productions on it.
my chopper will have absolutely zero music
NONE
NOT A FUCKING PEEP
I really want to see a gameplay demo of a consumer playing it
You think they will release something like that before launch?
If custom tracks are a thing, this is definitely my helicopter extraction music.

why?
why?
Doesn't matter anyways, the PC version will be a week later
Plenty of time to see if it's as good as it looks
This is kojima's baby, it's not going to be any worse than it looks.
Kojima's games only suck when he's forced to make them, see MGS 4, and even then it's still above average in terms of quality.

what the hell are you on about MGS4 was fucking amazing.

It was subpar compared to the other MGS games, had countless awful sequences and the gameplay to cutscene ratio was infamously unbalanced.

Your pilots will have a thing or two to say about that.

Act 3
actually the reason why I don't replay it more
plus awkward B&B scenes don't combine with me playing in the kitchen where everyone can see it
Sneaking up on someone with that loud ass robot walker is dumb as hell but I'll overlook that.

The point being it was trying to tell a story and round everything up, to each's own i fucking loved it, the story the ending everything and the gameplay was brilliant. I enjoyed all the sequences i don't understand anything "awful" about them.

But it was silently rolling.
MGS4 is weird because its one of the weakest in the series but it has some of the best moments in the series.

Act 3 is maybe worse than the underwater escort mission in MGS2
But, maybe as a way to redeem itself, it has THE best final boss fight of any game. At least imo.

That's because it was one giant fan service.
Just the ending for MGS4 made it for me honestly, which yes was a massive fan service, but I like this fan service.

You say that like it's a bad thing

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
"perfect for sneaking up on enemies"
Always felt pretty Meh towards the overall MGS4 story, but there's moments in that game which you just live for. [sp]Revisiting Alaska hit me for 6, Snake forgiving BB, and of course Snake and Liquid Ocelot beating the shit out of each other as old men is just something incredibly poignant to me, not because it was hard, or a challenge but because of what it meant, the journey to that point.[/sp] You don't get that feeling if you didnt travel the whole saga to get there.
MGS2 / Snake eater are my favorite games in the series by a huge margin, I've replayed them countless times and i still find the appeal there so it's not just nostalgia, and Snake Eater's ending still hits me the hardest, but MGS4 does have it's momentswhich come close.
MGS4's main problem for me was not enough gameplay and the framerate dipping like fuck when there was gameplay happening.

MGSV seems to have fixed both issues if ground zeroes is anything to judge it by, other than the fact it is only one level.
