The costume has ALWAYS looked like that (or at least very similar) , they're not going to change it too much for a movie.
I dunno though, I get a real topgun vibe from this movie trailer... Whether that's good or bad remains to be seen.

people who keep asking about the black green lantern here i'll sum it up for you, The black green lantern is actually the next green lantern after Hal Jordan, his name is John Stewart a marine sniper, the reason they chose to do Hal Jordan is because 1: he is the first and becomes the best green lantern, 2: Hal in the comics has alot more personality John is always serious and very dull and boring alot of the time so there isn't much to go on in fact the only time he gains somewhat of a personality is when he goes all emo over the fact he accidentally destroyed a planet.
Also like i said i get the feeling the real comic book fan's won't like this as much as newcomers.

Knowing Batman, he'll have a trick or two up his sleeve. Don't underestimate him just because of his lack of superpowers! His proficiency in many forms of martial arts and brilliance in deduction makes up for it!

also Hal and Bruce have a natural respect but generally despise each other the fact being batman finds Hal too hotheaded and a liability to the team and Hal hates the fact that batman embodies the thing which he hates the most.. fear.
