Was that the Washington Monument I saw? Are we going to be in the Capital Wasteland again?

That's the Bunker Hill Monument.

nope, definitely Boston, the Massachusetts State House shows up during the trailer.
Looks neat and all, but I have no hype whatsoever due to it being made by Bethesda.
Unless they somehow don't fuck up the story and dialogue, my opinion of the game will most likely be "Eh."
I thought i saw the Hub. I may be crazy.
Just this trailer alone makes Fallout 3 look so freaking bland in every way possible.
and I'm so glad they decided to go for a more vibrant style this time around. It looks absolutely gorgeous.

Ron Perlman confirmed!
Ok, so, it's made by the Fo3 team, [DEL]ron perlman will probably not be in the narrator role anymore (either that or worse, talking protag)[[/DEL] (thank you ninja poster above), they're STILL using fucking gamebryo/creation...
And we haven't even seen how they will be downgrading the RPG mechanics yet. Can't wait for the E3 stuff.
thank god we can still only have 12-15 characters on screen at any given time
:(
Please tell me those power-armored guys are not Bethesda's BOS...
[editline]3rd June 2015[/editline]
PLEASE.
That looked fucking awesome. All I hope is that it's optimized good.
Finally can get rid of this shit

No it's Boston, the Paul Revere statue was the most obvious sign. The other thing you saw is the Bunker Hill Monument.
The way those shopping carts went flying when the enemies bumped into them. Never change Gamebryo
Not exactly excited about Troy Baker as main character's voice. Hopefully there isn't much dialog.
God damn it, it's confirmed the PC will have a voice?
That's shitty.
im curious how having a voiced mc would/will play out, considering you can make literal retards that can barely form cohesive sentences with the special system
Only in the original Fallouts, New Vegas had something similar but it was much more dumbed down and rarely used.

How?

Seriously, it's visible.
i don't know dude it might as well be idtech 5, judging by the looks of it
Now we wait for Steam Preorders

This was the only thing I was hoping for. You can't have Fallout with Ron Perlman.
I really don't mind a voiced pc tbph
They're so putting a pile of tea crates by the waterside as an easter egg
How?
Voiced PC's means there will be less variety in dialogue solely because it would be more expensive to voice. In a big RPG, a silent protagonist with more choices is always better. It allows you to make a personality for your character through the choices you make in dialogue, even if those choices don't have a huge effect on the story or world.
Dragon Age: Origins for instance left you with tons of options. Like if some guy had a quest for you, you could say stuff along the lines "I'll do it", "I'll do it if you pay me", "Why should I do it?" "Tell me more about what I have to do", "What if I do X instead?", "No I won't do it". All it boils down to is if you do it or not, but there's a chance to personalize your character there. To determine how he or she handles dealing with people. Then in Dragon Age 2 and Inquisition, with the introduction of a voiced character, you get "I'll do it" or "I won't do it"
The music did it for me. One of the most memorable musical themes in recent video games.
Yay, another game where I can play as Troy Baker!

Just came in here to say this, but I hope they have a more numerous selection this time. Listening to blue moon for the 500th time gets a little bit tiring.
