The only way I could actually enjoy Fallout 3 with it's gloomy pallet is if I used the Warhammer 40k Total Conversion.
That being said, I can't wait for the WH40k mods for Fallout 4.
How much longer do you plan on making this incredibly tired joke?
Probably as long as Bethesda keeps making games.
Also, about the co-op thing. Skyrim had a Multiplayer mod that was fun as hell. I know it completely broke immersion, but god damn was it neat to see other players interact, fight each other, go on quests as a group, ransack stores, slaughter townsfolk, and eat cheese.
Now that's what I always wanted in an RPG game like TES or Fallout.
Don't you dare say "Play WoW". I tried it. It's nothing like I want or was talking about.
It's 2015, almost every AAA title has some form of multiplayer
lol tacking on multiplayer in a series that has been majorly a story driven single player experience is a horrible idea, not fucking everything has to have multiplayer because a lot of games have multiplayer nowadays
[editline]3rd June 2015[/editline]
if you want multiplayer save it for the possibility of modding it in, not having dev time be wasted on it when it could be put towards what matters (singleplayer)
Graphics looks fine for me TBH. Time to wait to see what the story and gameplay will be like.
A lot more colorful. Reminds me of RAGE.
I like it.
I do get the feeling that the actual world will be very huge this time around though. Here's hoping it will.
I really want a fallout game set in a big city which actually feels like, you know, a big city.
tbh when I modded fallout new vegas, I modded it to be more immersive
there was a point where I had darker nights, bottle caps have weight, more rifle ammo, have only a rifle, pistol... and that's it. Bleed out mod and heavier damage to the player from bullets.
I'll probably buy the game and have an adjusted weight mod + bottle cap weight mod, with damage evened out so that both the player and NPC's can take less hits and deal more damage
humans have the ability to instantaneously change tactics, dynamically, AI do not.

What'd you expect, it's usaokay he thrives off making unfunny niche jokes.
I'm guessing at E3 they're gonna show off some gameplay. Can't wait for that!
[editline]oh[/editline]
Oh, durr. Just looked at the description.
Watch the official in-game trailer for Fallout 4 – the next generation of open-world gaming from the award-winning creators of Fallout 3 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Bethesda Game Studios. Tune into Bethesda’s E3 Showcase on Sunday, June 14th at 7:00pm PT to see the world premiere of the game.
The best part about this is that now people can shut the fuck up about Fallout 4 whenever Bethesda announces anything that isn't Fallout 4.
Oh my, a fallout game with color! Can't wait!
feels kinda weird to see bethesda making actual cinematics
feels kinda weird to see bethesda making actual cinematics
How? both Fallout 3 and Fallout NV had them in their intro's.

i wonder how much those mods are going to run you

240$ game in the end
20$ HD pack DLC with a 10$ companion, and the rest into mods
[editline]3rd June 2015[/editline]
the game updates and suddenly I'm naked with no guns, floating in the sky because the mods broke and the creators don't care

45$ for the unofficial bug patch
don't forget that shit.
As much as I'm anticipating this to be an enjoyable experience I have a feeling that Obsidian could do far better story-wise. I hope Bethesda gives them access to the engine again and more development time so we can get another FO title based on the West Coast.
How? both Fallout 3 and Fallout NV had them in their intro's.
fallout 3 was just a slideshow and new vegas wasn't by bethesda

5$ for official bug patch and retro style player character
i dunno why everyone is assuming that the brotherhood of steel is going to be like the one from fo3 other than some guys walking in the fields and a vertiberd with a dude looking out at the city
even in fo3 it's known that they aren't part of the actual brotherhood anymore
and even if they are the heroes of fo4 it even says in the fallout bible that "they are generally good guys, though they'll put technology above life," but that doesn't mean they value life less than any other guy in the wastelands, it's just that they value technology a lot more than that guy does, which sounds like the choice of if you could only save one thing which would you choose, your dog you love(humans) or a person you love(technology)
and actually it may not even be the brotherhood of steel, it may be US soldiers from your vault even if you were also cryogenically frozen
Having that interim to let the trailer sink in was thoughtful.
This is really cool and all but the only thing that I'm thinking about is if it's still on the same engine as Fallout 3.
Story is what usually makes or breaks Fallout. Don't know if I should be hyped if Beth is doing the story writing.
I'm excited for the game, but by no means am I expecting a good story out of this.
Speaking of the cryo thing, where does everyone get that from?
Speaking of the cryo thing, where does everyone get that from?
A bunch of unconfirmed rumors, plus the fact that the trailer shows in-engine pre-war segments.
really digging the games colour palette
A bunch of unconfirmed rumors, plus the fact that the trailer shows in-engine pre-war segments.
Someone somewhere suggested that the tutorial part of the game will take place in Pre-War while explaining the plot at the same time. Then the bombs would drop and you'd start out in beautiful Post-Apocalyptia. I'd love that personally.
Well fallout 3 was oblivion with guns and now fallout 4 is skyrim with guns.
First of all, why would they change from an engine they've been working on for years and years?
So can you stop whining now? Good.
Because they're not the company they used to be back when they released Morrowind and Oblivion, their IPs have become billion dollar franchises. When you have ID under your corporate portfolio, use it to your advantage
