OP's video is biased, for the most part at least.
Doesn't really matter if it was or not. We all know that Microsoft's conference was terrible. If not the worst of the three.
[editline]09:48AM[/editline]
I mean there is no excuse for Justin Beiber to even be mentioned at E3. Let alone played at it.
When Justin Bieber came on I was all.. yep that just about sums this conference up.
Oh dear, Microsoft has gone insane.
skittles aaah skittle stopskittles aaahahh
Fuck, that was the worst thing ever.
I knew it was going to be gimmicky shit, all my friends kept saying I was wrong. WELL LOOK AT IT NOW!
All that movement bullshit, it's a video game, not real life!
The little girl made me cringe.
stop it tickles
Christ I would be tearing at my face in cringey agony if I was actually there with that tickle thing.
AWKWARD AS FUCK, IT'S A VIDEO GAME.
"Like Wii can"
The Xbox 360 slim is actually a pretty good deal, it's about the same cost as a regular xbox, it comes with a 250 gig hard drive and a built in wireless piece. If you're new to xbox that's a really good deal.
But kinect sucks. Really bad. The good part of Microsoft's conference was the games. They shouldn't have played them all at the start, they should have spread them out through their conference so Kinect didn't look so bad.
It's... it's following me!
bobkis bobkis bobkis bobkis
That little girl part made me wince, I skipped past it because it was just so awful. Her forced laughs and annoyingness pushed me to the edge.
That editing was really annoying in the long run
that was the most horrible press conference in terms of gaming EVER. I love my Xbox, and I will always love it as long as it's competing with PS3, but this made me feel like a dumbass.
the Sony conference was exciting with great relevant and adult information. the Microsoft press conference was a piece of kiddy shit. The part with the little girl acting so fucking bad, I wanted to kill myself. the speeches were so unprofessionally done, and they made way too many mistakes.
PS3 owners are laughing at us, and they have the right to do so.
Nintendo got to laugh at Microsoft this year. That's when you know shit went bad
I don't get Microsoft. As someone that doesn't have, and probably never will get a console (I'm impartial, and don't want to start a fight!), the PS3 just seems to be better, and all their claims about power, pricing etc. just appear to be untrue.
From my experiences, the PS3 is better in terms of hardware. Both 360 and PS3 get, for the most part, the same games. A 360 is just easier to put my monitor on top of.
I'd probably get kinect just for that star wars game. Even if the footage was probably pre-recorded, the mere concept of being able to control a jedi with your movements is awesome.

That footage was so cheezy though...
Why Justin Bieber? why not put some pleasant neutral beat/trance on it instead?
Is this serious?
Fucks sake, gamers want a controller.
Ubisoft's was more embarrassing.
The "Experiences never experienced before" part was absolutely fucking hilarious.
I'm not sure what press conference you watched but I was totally fucking blown away. And I was blown away by casual games. Can't imagine what something deeper would be like, but it would surely be awesome.
You just have no imaginations, go back to playing Medal of Honour 12 and Bad Company 15 and bitch about how they tweaked the same guns again.
4:46-4:48 looks fake as hell.
Worst conference this year, Nintendo and Sony is laughing at them.
This is just a train wreck of a conference.
Granted some games would be brilliant on it, Starwars Games and maybe racing games with a bit of weight in your hands but the rest just seems to be a rip off of the wii... with a few useless features.

It's worse than what apple is doing with the iPhone 4.
The closest thing the dancing game comes to ripping anything off is DDR, and even that is just your feet. And IMHO they seem to be more inventive with the games than remarketing Wii Sports over and over. The adventure thing actually looks fun for example, and even that does things you couldn't dream of with a wiimote. Maybe a move if you abstract it to the point of boredom, but not a wiimote.
That's the great thing about it, it's not abstraction of motion from a stick, it's your actual movements.

I suppose you've seen yourself fully inserted into a virtual space and commanded your electronics like a starship captain off of star trek meets minority report many times before have you?
I suppose you've interacted directly with dynamic virtual characters a few dozen times last week eh? I know, I'm sick of it already.
Dislike the wording all you like, it's not a lie and it's not hyperbole. Very few pieces of marketing has ever been able to claim that about such a bold statement.
Maybe in seven years it will be, but this is more like if the iPhone 4 was the first publically available touch screen device ever.
