As someone with no love for gun culture, that Polygon review was a fucking shambles, Jesus Christ. Even just watching this video I found fascinating. The idea of a realistic simulation of a shooting range, complete with assembly, sounds great, not to mention it looked like one of the better uses of VR I've seen. But here you have this guy from Polygon genuinely frightened or, perhaps more realistically, pretending to be genuinely frightened of a fucking virtual gun.
Oh, no wonder. The guy who wrote the op-ed is Ben Kuchera.

A whole new meaning to the word "Triggered"
I like how the death animation is unfinished for this part of the game
I believe they legit thought that no one would die in that room so they just decided "idk, who cares" [editline]15th May 2016[/editline] if you unironically die in that room you should either A. Refund the game and sell your steam account B. Buy a new controller or mouse
I like how the death animation is unfinished for this part of the game
If they bother improving this, it would be funny to see a reference to how badly skilled the player is ...or Polygon
Why is he trying to put the carry handle in where the magazine goes? Has he never seen a gun before? Jesus fucking christ
"Don't you ever dare to underestimate the stupidy of player". I don't recall when i heard it or who originally said it, but these two videos show it for 100%.
Christ that monologue about guns is painful. Should have had the Max Payne 2 theme for extra edge "... I would put my finger on the trigger, wondering how much pressure it would take to pull it" [editline]15th May 2016[/editline] http://youtubedoubler.com/?video1=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3Duwg6RTjCH7g&start1=0&video2=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3Du116HbMOF_Y&start2=0&authorName= I'm lazy
His parents should've taught him not to go fucking around with it, or at least kept it somewhere slightly more secure than a cupboard
