Tanks Invade London to Celebrate Battlefield 3's Launch

Would've been funny if they drove it to the where all the protestors are. They probably would've thought the police brought tanks to get them out :v
I'd just like to interject that driving in a tracked vehicle on paved roads is not one of the "better ways to travel to work", unless you really like shaking up those squishy little organs of yours, not to mention the noise.
Inside a tank it's pretty sound tight or else you would die if a anti tank shell hits the tank.
Now Valve must one-up them by releasing a headcrab invasion.
Bomb every capital with headcrab cannisters
As much as I dislike Battlefield 3 (yes I played it long enough to have an opinion), this is pretty awesome.
i won't be impressed until they have abrams and t-90s smashing through walls
That's taking it too far.
I'ld get it, but people keep saying that it's hard to run it decently, and since my rig is already low-mid range, I'm kind of concerned about it.

It's airtight yes, that doesn't mean it's soundproof. The vibrations travel from the tracks through the entire body of the tank, trust me. Even with rubber tracks it's loud and rumbly as fuck. It's nearly impossible to hold a conversation inside one without the intercom and helmets.
It's even more funny because they're street legal, don't pay congestion charge ether.
Want an ACP for 4500 GBP? Okay, sure.
It was an M113 and a Scorpion tank.
Probably cost $100,000 with fuel.
They probably rented them
The hardest part would be getting permission to drive them through London I imagine.

The cartels should just buy them

Good luck getting them through customs. :v:
I wish Tanksi's were a real thing :(
Unless they rented it that's waaay too much for an advert.
The video probably cost more to film, edit, and publish, than the vehicles cost.
That was a pretty damn cool way of advertizing.
Wasn't it EA who took over a petrol station in London once and gave away £20,000 worth of fuel? I forgot what game it was though
Edit: Found it, it was Mercenaries 2 http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/7599639.stm

No, tanks are road legal and are congestion charge exempt in London.

Live in London?
Buy a FV 432.
Both travel and avoid charges in style.
I'ld get it, but people keep saying that it's hard to run it decently, and since my rig is already low-mid range, I'm kind of concerned about it.
My brother has my old HD4870 and a shitty old dual core processor and it runs fine on low-mid settings about 40-60fps. It's not as demanding as people seem to think.
Does anyone else wonder if those are up to smog code?
Fun fact: not only do tanks cost nothing to tax for use on British roads, they're also Congestion Charge exempt, which makes them a relatively cheap way of getting into central London, even including fuel.
How the hell do you rent a tank.
I know a guy.

Does it comes with live rounds
There was a episode where Top Gear had to demolish houses against a pro team
They went to this large warehouse with shit loads of helicopters, tanks and jeeps, they where very cheap.
And the best thing is that anyone can buy one :v:

Ahaha I would fucking love to get a Tanksi to college or work anyday XD
I cringed.
lol she used the tank as a taxi =))
Would have been awesome if there was a mock tank battle in downtown London.
