Not to my knowledge but they've been doing a lot of weird changes lately and this isn't the first time a Polaris show has moved to a different channel.

Brutal Mario...we're in for a treat. This romhack is over 8 years old at this point, and it still impresses me. You wouldn't think it from the title, but this isn't a Kaizo ripoff. Instead of trying to kill you, it does some of the most interesting ASM (aka code deviations) I've seen in SMW. We're gonna see the leaf shield shown off soon, and that's just the start because every level has their own code modification. [sp]For example, we might just see Arin fight Megaman 7's Wily Capsule all over again.[/sp] The only problem is that it's unfinished, and the original creator hasn't been seen since 2008. I'm sure we'll get a good laugh at their reactions, however.

Funnily enough, I didn't discover those until later. I hung around SMW Central (christ that's going back a long way), making shitty custom levels and enjoying the hacks other people made. Good times.
Anyway, on topic, it's a little weird seeing Markiplier around more. Then again, considering Kevin walked into one of his videos, I think they share a studio anyway.

Symphony of the Night is one of the best Castlevanias ever made, and knowing that Dan's completely in the dark about it makes the playthrough all the sweeter.

Hey, you can get it on PSP, PS3, and I think PS4 on their store. Very much worth it. I picked it up along with an old psp a few years ago, and beat it to completion. Probably one of my favorites of the series.

Thank Polaris for that- they've worked with Guns of Icarus before, and it seems another round of promotion is due. Pretty nice, cause I do like the game.

They did but this is a big Polaris-wide YouTuber bash, TB has a video of his side up on his channel and at the beginning of GG's video they go into detail about who all is there.
So apparently people are up in arms about the SOTN playthrough, because several years ago in the castlevania sequelitis Arin said that he disliked metroidvanias. Because they're playing it on gamegrumps, he's "sold out" and is a hack, skipping over the idea that maybe he's doing this for free to promote Bloodstained. The lengths some people go to in order to piss on Arin.

IIRC, way back in the JonTron era when they played the original Castlevania, Arin said he disliked the TERM "Metroidvania" because he felt that the first namesake of the term was superior (and more in line with how games of that genre work) to the second one. Not that he didn't like Castlevania outright, he just thought Metroid was better. It was something like that. I'll have to rewatch that series to make sure, but I just rewatched it not too long ago and that's how I remember it.

Few days late to be commenting on this, but I'm crazy impressed that Dan managed to get an intercept star from Bear Hugger, I didn't think he'd ever succeed at any of that stuff. If he just realises that you can do it to every move he has and 3 star punches in a stun are an automatic knockdown, he'll be able to beat it pretty easily. It requires a lot of restarting to get right, which he doesn't seem to do. But maybe he'll get it eventually
