Well, now that they fixed the bottom screen, I wonder if this means that we might see other 3DS games getting grumped on in the future. I'd love to see that, although it would probably mean the Grumps having to huddle around each other to watch the game being played.
So, toongrumps then
Yeah but not talking over a pre-recorded time-lapse and not as an april fools joke.

They can see the capture so the person who isn't playing would probably just watch that instead of huddling together.
God I love the AA videos.

Danny and Arin talked about doing ALBW. Also, Suzy has been doing 3DS games in the Grump space for KKG for a while.
I still await the Tomodachi life play.

Barry was watching on the tv or the capture plus the Grumps to hover one mic so I'm sure there use to it
Well, since they brought the frogs out of the closet, wonder when we're going to get more DOG Island goodness.
I am getting a bit annoyed by Arin shit talking Sonic Adventure at every chance. Like yeah, it's not a great game and it has aged pretty poorly but jesus christ it's not THAT bad.

arin thinks he is literally smarter than most people for pointing out that a 3D sonic game isn't very good

The day stages in Sonic Unleashed were both good and Sonic. So it's not a question of if but how Sonic can work in 3D.

i dont believe for a second arin thinks he's smarter than anyone
I've never played Sonic Adventure or Sonic Adventure DX, so please take the following bit of information with a bit of hesitance. From what a few people have said, it seems that the original game was buggy, but stable at most. However, they also said that the DX version is a terrible port compared to the original game. Then again, it's from reddit and YouTube comments, so it's all pure speculation at this point.

I don't think it's because he thinks he's smarter than people, I think he's talking trash about it because it's the "cool thing" to do w/r/t Sonic Adventure. It's basically impossible to mention it anywhere on the internet in 2015 without someone jumping out of the bushes just to go "HEY YOU KNOW SONIC ADVENTURE IS BAD RIGHT?? LET ME TELL YOU EVERY WAY IT IS BAD". But if he's just gonna point out how bad it is all the time why even play it on the show?
Sonic Adventure was a buggy but loveable mess
I think if I didn't play it when I was younger I wouldn't be so fond of it, but I spent so many hours just exploring and trying to find secrets it's hard not to see it through nostalgia goggles

Because it's fun to make fun of bad games? That was the whole point of sonic 06. Shit man I used to love that game as a kid but you gotta let it go sometimes; in my experience I can't say I disliked it without people telling me that I'm wrong. Shouldn't take ragging on an old game that's aged badly too personally.

This. I remember even as a kid getting mad when the camera fucked up or you clipped through a wall. You overlook a lot of shit back then because 3D was new and experimental. But by today's attitudes you shouldn't need to apologize for a game.
If you have no prior attachment to Sonic Adventure it really does not hold up.

I used to get so frustrated with the first level, during the whale bit you can be a little too far to the right; miss a boost pad and die cause fuckin shamu catches up.
I remeber renting it and then getting a headache from the graphics.
i remember as a kid even questioning the voices and facial animations

Did you ever stop and think that it's just a shitty game with loveable points and that it's good entertainment value from someone whose job it is to entertain? Besides this is far from the first shitty game they've played on the show, so.
Did Suzy just make up the whole 'Bip and Bop' thing or was that a fandom name before their Zack and Wiki video?

Something in this video made me realize something- they definitely do change gamestyles a lot in Adventure, but I don't think it's because it has a mission to "be as many games as possible," or "doesn't have faith in anything ever,"- this was one of the first dreamcast games to be made and established, a flagship of sorts of what was to come. Of course they'd put so many types of gameplay in this, how else are you going to demonstrate a system? Better ways of course, but I at least understand
[sp]Also, Arin ragequits sonic's story, instead of looking up what to do (well, he does, but the walkthrough he was using told him to go one place instead of what you're stupposed to do) and has Dan play Tails's story. That's...pretty lame, in my honest opinion, but at least Dan gets to play.[/sp]

Well what do you expect?
The game isn't telling where to go or what he should be doing (like usual) & [sp]the walkthrough they're reading is flat out wrong[/sp]
Despite how much love this game gets, it's actually really badly designed & trying to figure out where to go is so unintuitive it can be painful to play if you don't know what you're doing
I just glad that [sp]they're going to be showing off more characters because from what I remember the Sonic story is the longest by far[/sp]

To be fair when you speak to a few people they usually hint at where to go
And when one guide is wrong and you know it's been poor in detail in the past you do try another.
But I remember being equally stuck at this point years ago and using a similar or exactly the same guide and being stuck here. When it comes to this game you do assume it's just broke.
As a kid I owned a Snes, a N64, and a GBA. I liked Sonic Advance so I wanted to try Sonic Adventure. My parents rented a Dreamcast just so I could play this.
I remember thinking the face animations were weird and I kept getting stuck in the hub world because the doors that you can go through aren't clear enough.
I got stuck at the sewer hole like them in Part 4. After what seemed to be hours I turned off the console.
I tried again later that day and noticed that I unlocked Tails, so I picked him, hated the first level and decided to mess around the Chao garden a little bit until I had enough and asked my parents to return the Dreamcast.
Now that I think about it, I blamed it on the Dreamcast, not on the game. I thought there was no way those who made a game as awesome as Sonic Advance could make a game this bad in 3D.

The difference is in the intentions. With Sonic 06, it was in good humor, and with Sonic Adventure it's malicious and it really shouldn't feel that way, but it is because as I said people just can not help themselves when Sonic Adventure is mentioned.
Honestly I had some issues replaying Sonic Adventure recently.
Awkard/Awful Sonic games are a thing, and if the Grumps want to rag on it let them.
They shouldn't be silenced because some people are pissy about it. Or because of fear of reprisal from community.
