I'm surprised he managed to get further than Danny did in Godzilla, despite Danny having (slightly) more experience with it and the controls. It's a shame that the game doesn't actually tell you how you're supposed to make progress in the game. It leaves too much for the player to have to figure out for themselves. Like, at the rate they were going in the God Of Destruction story mode, they would have gotten to stage 7 and, had they beaten it, only THEN the game would have told them that they actually needed to use those data collection points to get further in the story before going "to be continued" and making you start the mode over from the beginning. And even if they did have the necessary data collection points (which would have taken at least two playthroughs going through two separate paths), they still would have needed to destroy everything in sight to grow Godzilla up to 100 meters, which unlocks the true ending, and THAT is never made obvious aside from vague hints on the loading screen tips ("When Godzilla reaches 100 meters, he undergoes a transformation!"). And there's also the fact that you need evolution parts from defeating monsters to unlock new moves and more powerful Atomic Breath types to be able to stand a better chance against monsters.
I think it would have served them better to make some progress off-screen, make Godzilla stronger, and figure out what they're actually supposed to do in the game, before playing this for the show again, if they ever decide to do so.
Oddly enough, despite the gripes I've made, I still love the game (I have the PS3 version, and nearly platted it), and I like this series. I'm glad they're having fun with it despite it not exactly being the best game in the world.

I'm with Arin on this. This game really loves pulling cheap deaths on you. Doesn't help that it's one hit kill and you have to be precise.
