Who's the pale, wrinkly guy? [sp]Snoke?[/sp]
I'm conflicted as I was with the Episode 7 trailer Hopefully Episode 8 is good as well
Is that a fucking CGI Chewie? Seriously?
Who's the pale, wrinkly guy? [sp]Snoke?[/sp]
It's his brother, Snerg.
I should watch 7 at some point, since all this looks so weird to me.
Woah no way? It's like you've had to watch the previews movie to get what's going on woah
lol guys im just sayin that [sp]carrie fisher fucking died dude do you think she's still gonna be alive in the film for long? this barely spoils anything[/sp]
Woah no way? It's like you've had to watch the previews movie to get what's going on woah
All I'm getting at is how quickly the new trilogy developed it's own style and aesthetic. Not hating on anything. It looks cohesive in its own context.
I can't believe [sp]First Order Fighter Pilot #52372[/sp] is [sp]FUCKING DEAD[/sp].
It's his brother, Snerg.
Nah it's his cousin, Snork.
yea right
You and Tuskin said this about R1 and TFA and you were wrong then, and you're likely wrong now.
[sp]she completed her work on ep8, the script didn't change to account for what happened[/sp]
[sp]To be honest though, I think they're going to kill off all the older actors because they want the franchise to start New with these characters. Also I don't think the older actors really want to act forever in the massive amount of movies Disney has planned[/sp]
I think I understand now why we were told not to watch it, [sp]but I think there might be a big bait & switch.[/sp] [sp]Like what if Rey keeps pestering answers she want from Luke, but he refuses to answer her questions about the Force and Dark Side. And Kylo is disgusted by the truth he find from Snoke. And then Luke see's Rey's true power and refuses to train her, and so she gets bamboozled like Bastila in KOTOR and goes Dark side. Meanwhile Kylo flops over back to Luke and the Light side.[/sp]

A dissatisfaction with Snoke and Luke leads to them working together to discover the secrets of the Force.[/sp]
Nah it's his cousin, Snork.
it's his nephew, Lowie [t]https://images.moviepilot.com/images/c_limit,q_auto:good,w_600/iqemjrfgfbytrmo6xcdr/ever-wonder-why-lightsabers-have-different-colors-here-s-the-meaning-behind-it.jpg[/t] [editline]10th October 2017[/editline]
I think I understand now why we were told not to watch it, [sp]but I think there might be a big bait & switch.[/sp] [sp]Like what if Rey keeps pestering answers she want from Luke, but he refuses to answer her questions about the Force and Dark Side. Given this is the last jedi, but the force will continue to exist, I'd assume [and have already brought it up in the past so I don't blame this trailer] that the plot here culminates in them coming together for the greater good. The end of this, or the start of the next, would then probably be about the birth of a third order of the force; not jedi nor sith representing extremes of light and dark, but of balance[/sp] maybe the trailer was spoilery in its own ways though, given it feels like it's still affirming common theories and assumptions regardless of whether it speaks anything outright
Is that a fucking CGI Chewie? Seriously?
Where?
Only thing I'm not liking at all judging by trailers and such is the Battle of Crait's similarity to Battle of Hoth. I'm hoping it's too obvious to be a carbon copy but it still worries me.
the musical cue starting with the Lucasfilm title card sounds like a remixed Imperial March i also see that the First Order upgraded the old walkers as well, the AT-ATs have increased armor on the body section and the AT-ST's "face" has gotten a makeover too
I just noticed, there is an entire planet missing from the trailer. Canto Bight.
I just noticed, there is an entire planet missing from the trailer. Canto Bight.
Isn't that where Phasma and Finn are fighting?
Isn't that where Phasma and Finn are fighting?
that looked like the First Order loading bay seen in the earlier shot, although wrecked
that looked like the First Order loading bay seen in the earlier shot, although wrecked
I'm betting it is the Supremacy, as it looks like a factory. Though these changes are more noticeable

Also all that FO hardware on display is glorious. [editline]. [/editline] Curiously enough despite the abundance of FO walkers in the trailer I can't spot this weird thing anywhere.
[t]https://i.imgur.com/crqTLl3.png[/t] This looks like it is meant to be a successor to the Nebulon-B, but I don't like it. Too blocky. [editline]10th October 2017[/editline] This appears to be a new design, though it looks like it has blockade runner engines. [editline]10th October 2017[/editline] Ah the supremacy did make it into the trailer [t]https://i.imgur.com/JjjaLXP.png[/t]
I'd glad Disney got Star Wars just as they where getting out of their dull phase. I feel like the newer Marvel films like Thor 2 and Guaridans 2 have more of an art style, it's nice to see that being carried over to Star Wars. Feels like they're going to take a lot more risks and might actually make something pretty exciting.
Where?
Uhhh... In the scene with Chewie? Just look at the way his face moves. You can't do that naturally with a suit.
Looks fine to me.
[sp]she completed her work on ep8, the script didn't change to account for what happened[/sp]
well now they're gonna be stuck with a [sp]poochie died on the way back to his home planet situation for episode 9[/sp]
