I honestly think the best thing to have done in this situation would be for the host to have kicked the person having a seizure. If the person is having a seizure caused by something in VR chat like that rainbow wendy, removing them from the game will remove them from anything that might have happened to cause it. And also, there is nothing that any of the people in the chat can do to help. Not a damn thing. Unless someone knows him, where they live and can get help for them, all the people there can do is watch as someone maybe dies or doesn't.
I would agree but I think in this case it helped that they could let him know about what just happened.
Or just kick the Wendy
But there is no guarantee that she did cause it, even if it does seem like a possibility. And even so, removing her doesn't do anything for everyone watching helplessly. People can get severe trauma over witnessing something like that.
that wendy was a piece of shit, even after they knew something was wrong and people saying it was a seizure, they went right up to the guy and kept saying "oh my god, he's dead" and everyone crowding around the poor kid. damn. internet anonymity can make people real fuckin callous. if this happened irl right in front of you, you'd not be such a shitstain of a human being.
It has been mentioned a lot already but yeah don't put your fingers anywhere near the mouth of someone having a seizure. Having had seizures in my younger years and being a former EMT I can say this is not a good idea, all you are gonna do is get your fingers bitten.
@ Ugandan Knuckles The Ugandans who made the movie the meme is parodying are super cool/into the meme and retweet them all the time, but [sp]white[/sp] people on the internet are still screaming "racism! casual racism! horrible!!" and deciding how they should feel about it. Frankly I find that to be supremely racist in itself. "We know best for them"
Is the clicking/spitting/queen stuff in the movie as well?
Real talk, I absolutely did not expect as many people in this video to take this as seriously as they did. I'm surprised, they actually all chilled the fuck out pretty fast to try and help out.
Never stick an object in someones mouth while they are seizing. The worst they could do is bite their tongue open and start bleeding. If that happens then you should try to turn them on their side so they dont choke on their own blood ajd spittle
I've had a handful of seizures in my life and they're all equally terrifying. Been diagnosed with "Mild" Epilepsy (not triggered by lights or movement, but triggered by sickness/lack of sleep) and have been living with it since its reared its ugly head and made my life a lot more risky. I'll never forget the first time I had one. Wasn't from epilepsy but rather from an infection in my spine that caused it. Was picking up my girlfriend at the time on Christmas Day, Christmas MORNING. I didn't get a lot of sleep, at all, maybe 2 hours top. We were just getting her cat into my car when it happened. Car was on but THANKFULLY it was in Park so it didn't go anywhere. I was literally about to leave right as it happened. I remember her panicking and screaming for her mom to come help. 2 lovely people who were in the nearby park rushed over and started to assist (apparently, this is what I've heard) and called and Ambulance for me. Woke up in the Ambulance, confused as shit, wondering what happened and the EMT looks at me and says, "You had a seizure, buddy, you okay?" I'll never forget my reaction... I laughed, "Whaaaat?" and then answered questions til I got to the hospital and found out that was a Meningitis infection in my upper spine. I have had 3 since then, 1 from a bit too much medication, and the other 2 were from lack of sleep. Its scary as fuck sometimes. Going from REAL LIFE to complete utter unconsciousness to waking up on the floor.
