It looks alright. Not blow your tits off great but unless some new stuff comes out that makes it look really good I'll probably wait til it's on sale.
At least I'll get it for 10% off at Target on my Birthday. Hopefully they do patch in some hangers on the maps on the final release.

I find that unlikely. There is already a hanger on both, they don't use it
This game looks really disappointing.
No home base for the factions, everyone is just droped into the map.
The map looks really small. The previous battlefront maps were huge.
Pathetic player counts.
As I thought when I saw them announcing this game, Dice can't make games anymore.

The Hoth map is pretty damn big.
They should have remade Battlefront 2 with ragdoll physics, upgraded graphics and way more maps.

That isn't as simple as it sounds.
it probably feels and looks bigger because as it is now you have to walk 3km under the snow just to shoot your puny blaster for ten seconds.

If you look at any the videos with someone flying, you can see the playable ground area and it is pretty damn big.

I've been playing it, it's one of the most bland shooters I've played for ages. If it didn't have a Star Wars theme, I don't think anyone would even care. Nothing here feels like the old ones, and it doesn't have any features that makes it stand out.
Sounds and looks amazing though, so I guess there's that.

Small compared to the maps in previous games though. Besides, the skybox boundry gives an illusion of how large the map actually is. The playable area is rather small.
