I tried to save that one guy from getting executed in Solitude in Skyrim, but he just falls over and dies if you manage to save him.
There are tons of moments where you can save someone in the Timesplitters series.
You know you suck at a game when all your squaddies have been dead for over 15 minutes and it is just you left, trying to figure out how to get through the damn chapter with an impassible wave of AI that keep spawning.
So I've got 3 Half Life clips recorded, probably going to upload two tonight. Which would you rather see? The elevator scientists, the we're doomed scientist or a group of scientists twatting about with the military?

There's probably a way to sacrifice yourself without noclipping if you use some weird speedrunning bunnyhopping wizardry.
You died for their sins, you truly are the hero black mesa deserves.
There's probably a way to sacrifice yourself without noclipping if you use some weird speedrunning bunnyhopping wizardry.
Probably but I can barely play the game normally let alone zoopity zop boppin around like a wee zoop bippity bop
You died for their sins, you truly are the hero black mesa deserves.
I am the night
Are you playing in goldsource or HL:Source? Cause you might have been able to make them move using a grenade Also, the OMG we're doomed guy is very easy to save
There was a video somewhere where a guy used a chair or something to stop the elevator from falling. I can't for the life of me find it though.

Yeah I realized that like 3 minutes into the video when he was all fine, I remembered it being a lot more difficult than what it actually was
There was a video somewhere where a guy used a chair or something to stop the elevator from falling. You should try saving them by normal means. Like no cheats.
You should try saving them by normal means. Like no cheats.
I do usually but AFAIK there's no way to save the elevator lot without breaking the game :(
Once I was playing far cry 2 and my AI buddy got downed so I went to revive him with a needle but I was out of them or something so it just defaulted to SHOOTING HIM IN THE HEAD with a desert eagle Love the idea of this series, that was amazing with the elevator save!
I wonder what would happen if you blocked the elevator with god mode on and then noclipped out.
Holy shit, just yesterday I tried to save Laszlo. He just keeps killing himself.
In Fallout New Vegas you should try to save the guy who tries to run into the new vegas strip, but gets killed by the Securitrons.
I wonder what would happen if you blocked the elevator with god mode on and then noclipped out.
Well as soon as I stopped recording with FRAPS my body fell and the scientists started exploding so presumably they'd keep falling and die regardless :(
In Fallout New Vegas you should try to save the guy who tries to run into the new vegas strip, but gets killed by the Securitrons.
Ohhh yeah I remember him, haven't played NV in ages, will reinstall and try it after I've finished up a few more games!
I used to do this sometimes. I always felt cheated whenever I successfully saved someone and they just flopped over and died anyway for reasons unknown, so I'd always just say that they either passed out from stress or feigned death to evade danger and called it a win.

However, even if you did save him, [sp]you wouldn't like the final mission.[/sp]
Also as promised the second video starring a bunch of scientists dicking around with the military and not listening to me/acting like Indiana Jones Tomorrow I'll probably upload the We're Doomed guy and record saving some rebels in Half Life 2 and two of the scientists from that part in Fallout 3 where you have to escape after your [sp]dad dies,[/sp] I remember one being difficult as fuck to keep alive Also how would you guys feel about me Let's Playing the Half Life games (1, Blue Shift, Opposing Force, Black Mesa Source etc etc) and saving every NPC possible? I'll still do these little videos on different games but I seem to be doing so many Half Life ones it makes sense to try and consolidate them all.
You sound like Wheatly sometimes which adds a nice touch. I love these.
I wonder what would happen if you blocked the elevator with god mode on and then noclipped out.
the path unblocks and the splosion triggers
Hah, you did the citizen in the canals. I remember doing the exact same thing, trying to save him repeatedly.
-Post had content, was proven wrong, then right.-
there are no videos of it, OP actually did kill the antlions before they could get laszlo and he just died anyway, and the wiki says his death is scripted no matter what which means you're lying or you're wrong
