Could he not milk the views from the nettles incident? I'm going back to the Australian guy who jumped into a cactus.
If this is real this is evidence that can land him in prison
Not sure if the guy is brave or stupid for opening the door a second time, but I'm glad the guy got a punch in the face. Why do people have to do these stupid fucking "pranks". Hopefully he gets in some serious trouble.
I love how the guy opens the door a second time to punch him in the face.
''Trick or treat! Here you go *punch*"
Not every country has batshit insane laws like the US you know.
"I'd rather die than protect myself"
I like to think this country is safe enough that not every house needs a ready supply of deadly weapons to defend itself with.
Not much of a prank. I would've shot him. I have a glass front door so not much option for cover if a guy sticks a gun in my face
"I'd rather die than protect myself"
"I'd rather lose my stuff than die trying to protect myself".
I hope the man in the video pressed charges, he has the evidence.
"I'd rather lose my stuff than die trying to protect myself".
A guy knocks on your door and shoves a gun in your face as soon as you answer it. It's best to assume the worst, not the best. You'll live longer
Both parties were dumb. If this was a real gun he could've been shot the moment he closed the door/opened it again.

What is it with Americans and thinking everyone wants to shoot them? Even if someone puts a gun to your face, odds are the person hasn't ever used it on another person before, and doesn't even wants to shoot you, but is using the gun to scare you. Assuming the worst in this case is a sure fire way to get the petty thief to go from burglar to murderer.

You have to look at each individual area/state/city and see the trend for armed robbery. For example in my area, 90% of the armed robberies/burglaries have resulted in assault or murder. There are times where they literally just walk in, shoot the fucking person and steal all the shit. That being said I would much rather fight back then just stand there and take it. Sounds really fucking stupid, but If I'm going to die at the hands of a criminal I'm sure as hell going to make him regret it or take him with me. Now that is for me personally, I'm not going to risk others lives. If someone truly intends just to steal and not harm someone they'll run. Most of the time they do.
Jesus fucking christ. He's not just an idiot, he's an asshole too.
That guy had some serious balls to open the door again when the guy had a gun, which was real for all he knew.
or the video is just fake why would he open the door to someone he thinks is armed just to punch him why is his eye bruised in that picture when he was only complaining about a broken nose why is the sound of his punch so loud it just screams viral bs to me. I don't think he's dumb enough to actually prank people with fake armed robbery
This is the UK, nobody has guns apart from farmers, the police and gangsters.
sounds like most of america

Especially in LA county.

When you open a knocking door to a man pointing a gun at your face, there are at least three initially unknown possibilities: 1) The man intends to shoot you. 2) The man doesn't intend to shoot you and just wants your stuff. 3) The entire thing is some stupid "joke" like the video. Like I said, these possibilities are unbeknownst to you. You haven't a single clue as to what the man's intentions are. All you must assume is that your life is in danger and you must defend yourself accordingly. You cannot wait around to see if the entire thing is a prank, because in your situation you have a gun pointed at you and you must act. It's best to assume the first possibility is going to happen because you'll ensure your life and your possessions are safe.

An Asian man in my area was robbed after a late night job interview, he gave him all he had, $17 dollars, and they shot him anyways. Good thing he followed their instructions and lived longer.
feels fake/staged
I feel the same, why would he risk his life coming back out just to hit him? But regardless, it's retarded to think something like this would be funny.
