i just realized what this video reminds me of
this video oh my god every time i see it, i just have to watch it again to see if the awkwardness will faze me less. so far it's been making me cringe every time without fail
I'm going to rate this friendly because I feel legitimately sorry for this man and his issues.
4 out of 5 stars. I see he has mixed reviews from his fans then.
Has this guy even thought about making a good video, and then people WILLINGLY make reaction videos from something he said?
you have to wonder if he thinks his videos are good, or maybe he realises they're bad but because he has such a large fan base he knows he can make any old shit and they'll still eat it up
4 out of 5 stars. I see he has mixed reviews from his fans then.
That is rather low for tgwtg. And THIS is low for tgwtg. Well it's not like I'll use these anyway. And if I want use a reaction video of any sort, I'll take a video that isn't prepacked. That's part of the fun, isn't it? Take this one, for instance. It's stil NC-based, but much more sincere (If you can call the critic sincere at all, but it's at least sincerer). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sKayLq1d5Bs Unfortunately, I've seen this video being used by someone on facebook reacting to this news.

It can be easily .gif'd and you get the gist of it without even opening the video. Those are good things
This one is pretty good too. And it applies to this too. nostalgia critic insulting nostalgia critic. Or this one. I know, first 2 are a bit long but the point of those is, you don't have to watch the whole thing to get it, only 5 or 10 seconds is fine.

I hate his normal reviews because he has to force all these mediocre jokes in but his mash ups like Disneyember or whatever it's called and Dreamworks-uary are the best. He never cuts to his face and he make crack some decent joke every minute but usually he just talks about the movies and shit and that's why I did enjoy him.
I'm always flabbergast at how someone who can nitpick movies so much, yet completely mess up making a movie on a fundamental level. I know they're amateurs but To Boldly Flee is a trainwreck. Besides awful editing and general low budget problems, they were unable to keep consistent lighting between shots in the same scene, or having some actors mic'd while others weren't in the same conversation. I mean, for fuck's sake, they mess up Shot-Reverse-Shot SEVERAL TIMES.
The problem with his anniversary movies is that he and everyone on the site get together to have fun instead of making a movie and having fun along the way. It's a problem that some movies have.

It's literally asking a bunch of Vloggers with skit skills lower then SNL to make a movie.
Also he was the first to do that from what I know.
And he's also an actual film maker. AVGN just happened to be a dumb short he made a while ago and a lot of people liked it so he went on with it. [editline]28th May 2013[/editline]
Anyone remember his hobo videos? Those were pretty good.
He's still doing them
Ok it's Tuesday. Finger's crossed for something decent.
Ok it's Tuesday. Finger's crossed for something decent.
Of course not, how dare you have hope.
And he's also an actual film maker. AVGN just happened to be a dumb short he made a while ago and a lot of people liked it so he went on with it. The critic on the other hand should focus only on making nostalgia critic videos(most of em are bad but meh the horrible movies make up for it)
I think Doug was at his best when he went to public places and did shit. Like when he quit his job, went to that Harry Potter book launch and met AVGN.. I think he should try out that stuff again, they were the first and best things he did.
