I have no idea what the pilot was thinking...
This is what happens when soldiers are bored...
At least there were no injuries.
that dumbfuck almost hit those guys on the ground.
That's me in Bad Company 2. On serious note I hope the pilot(s) got out ok.
And if they did this out of boredom now they know it was a very, very bad idea.
Holy shit, now I noticed all the soldier that dodged the heli.
shit, that guy was almost creased by the apache
BF3 in real life.
On a serious note, glad no one got hurt. One of those guys on the ground got really close to getting crushed by the tail.
Damn these things are expensive too
BF3 helicopter gameplay.
I saw this video on other site. Nobody died they say.
Bad Company 2/BF3 helicopters in a nutshell. Those things are awfully awkward to control.
Dunno what the guys in the video were thinking.
How they're going to explain that one... Even more stressful then if they did get injured.
Reminds me of playing arma 2 :v:
I liked the BC2/BF3 helicopters actually :v:

They look to be pretty high up in the mountains, and I'm pretty sure that helo's have trouble operating in mountain areas because of the altitude
Wow that costs the taxpayers billions, each.
Nice one pilot.
Holy shit, who the fuck goes on a joyride with an Apache?

One of the luckiest guys alive
Did the tail actually hit the building?
Video game joke
i didn't know there was snow in Afghanistan
Did the tail actually hit the building?
I'm going to say yes, judging from the slight thump you can hear as it whips by.

Yep, but I think the reason it crashed is because the pilot panicked after that, tried to climb at a very steep angle and then the heli stalled.
The helicopter didn't hit the building, that's just the sound of the helicopter passing by.
It looks like the pilot tried to pull up with a steep climb to make a turn around for a low pass. He probably had a small stall and didn't have enough altitude to avoid hitting the ground.
Shitty attempt at showing off.
^ on top of that it also caused the Bolt that hold the rear stabilizer to come loose. He got lucky a few more inches and that tail would be history.
So much money...
too low too fast
would have made it and looked cool doing it
if he pulled up half as early
What a pack of immature yahoos.
Those machines cost millions of dollars to replace!
US Military needs to be more thorough with their recruitment process to weed out idiots like this.
That's fucking amazing!
