As I said, most of his body was because of his dedication and willpower, he just got a little boost later when he reached his limit. Steroids in itself didn't killed him. Cocaine and heart condition did.

I just find it funny that he never did anything that portrayed the 'douchey gym guy' stereotype such as telling fat people or skinny people they're worthless, actually on the contrary he supported them and told them that striving to lose weight or gain weight would be good for them.
