What would 90s revival look like?

They should just do entire guest episodes at this point
Personally I'm looking forward to the early 2000's revival when everyone starts wearing frosted tips again.
Oh man that Kavinsky reference too, I'm a sucker for 80s synthwave parodies I love this
where was the Kavinsky reference?
where was the Kavinsky reference?
At 0:22 ''Staring Homer Simpson as Joe ''Kaz'' Kazinsky''
That was really good and than at the end it switches back to regular Simpsons and the animation is so shitty it's jarring.
oh my word
The best thing is that he doesn't even turn around, he just does an instant 180 degree spin from one frame to the other. And the movement is completely unnatural, he comes running in a counter-clockwise fashion, approaching the sofa head-on, but then somehow has his momentum keel him over to his left when he sits down. It makes no sense.
Yep, its because the animators know they can get away being lazy with the actual show stuff.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/7lpD7Uk.jpg[/t]
[t]http://i.imgur.com/7lpD7Uk.jpg[/t]
The animator who worked on that new Flash intro did explain why that part looks so bad. Something about Fox changing it after he submitted it so it would be cheaper to animate.
Just noticed Doc Brown and Marty at 0:30
The animator who worked on that new Flash intro did explain why that part looks so bad. There was several parts that he had animated much more fluidly (Marge's turning animation included) but Fox told him to change it. iirc he wasn't even the one responsible for the two-frame fist shaking Maggie and the other baby does, someone else put that it in.
The video takes no sense, because Homer appears as a strong person, but was amazing. And the song of video fits good

Obviously all their intro making money went towards the LA-Z part.

The super market-This whole scene was mine. I didn't like what they did where they cut pieces of body parts and moved them in the computer ie. Maggie's head etc. It looks like it was done in flash. About the Marge turn, I had originally done a version where she did a nice head turn but, again, they didn't want it. "Just have a simple head turn because we want the joke to be Maggie and the unibrow baby," they told me. I didn't know they were going to stiffen it up that much, I'm just defending myself because that seems to be the first thing people mention is Marge. They kept my Maggie scan and popping out of the bag though and in my defense they added the fist shaking later, I didn't do those 2 drawing cycle *eck*

The reason why the show has stiffend up is because there was an era when fox would tell directors that we had to draw every pose we drew perfectly on model. No distorting of the forms of any kind. It has slowly been dieing down the past couple seasons but they still insist on making the show more about the writing and less about the looks. Every once in a while we'll get let loose and we can do some fun stuff but on the whole don't blame the artists please. Believe me all of us working there would love to express the characters in more ways but there's just so much we can do.

[t]http://i.imgur.com/7lpD7Uk.jpg[/t]
this hurts me when I look at it
i'd consider it synthpop since the song used came out in 1983
Song name? I thought it was modern synthwave stuff
