*snap*
i'll admit it's a clever way of cheapening it up; homer's body is almost in the exact same position before and after the 180 which is why it probably doesn't look too bad to the average viewer
Many scenes remind me of Vice City.
just make the show this way
How does no one pick up "Push it to the limit"? It's got a pretty recognizable tune.
*snap*
That's a legitimate animation technique actually, a lot of old WB and Disney animations have similar things with limbs or hands inverting. It happens fast enough that you don't notice unless you go frame by frame. I had to copy an old Donald Duck cartoon for my 3D animation class and his hand did the same thing.
People who cream their pants for the 80's weren't even cognizant during the 90's.

The fact The Simpsons entirely did away with stretching and practically respects proportions on every single frame makes it all feel so unnatural and robotic.
People who cream their pants for the 80's weren't even cognizant during the 90's.
To be fair, you don't really need to have been. You can still like things from the 80s even if you weren't born then.
To be fair, you don't really need to have been. You can still like things from the 80s even if you weren't born then.
and this revival stuff is basically its own thing now so you may as well just enjoy yourself
and this revival stuff is basically its own thing now so you may as well just enjoy yourself
I find the original 80s to be cringy at best but synthwave and parodies of 80s tropes is amazing and I can't get enough of it.
It does have a recognizable tune, but i wouldn't doubt that there's some people out there who just haven't heard that song before.
I probably just know it because of YTMND.
and honestly i think all this throwback stuff has been a real stimulant to society. compared to the early-mid 2000's, world culture, our art, music, film, fashion, it all seems so much more... cohesive to me? it feels like 90% of the last decade was just a long wordless cathartic planet-wide sigh and now everyone feels alive and ready to create again [editline]10th January[/editline] man no wonder old people are so pissed all the time
People who cream their pants for the 80's weren't even cognizant during the 90's.
People also love reanacting civil wars and attending 1920's swing parties. It doesnt matter if you werent born/cognizant in that era, you can still have an appreciation for it duder.
People who cream their pants for the 80's weren't even cognizant during the 90's.
I guess I don't have permission to like something if I wasn't born in that time. Time to throw out half my pink Floyd albums.
You can thank Kung Fury for this.
How does no one pick up "Push it to the limit"? It's got a pretty recognizable tune. 80s moleman behind marge!
i wish otto woulda made an appearance
I probably just know it because of YTMND.
safety not guaranteed
[t]http://i.imgur.com/7lpD7Uk.jpg[/t]
You can see how Fox has drained all character from the Simpsons, she goes from "Oh shit, I wasn't paying attention, wheres my kid, oh thank god there she is." And now "Beep boop"
i wish otto woulda made an appearance
At least we got handsome Dr. Nick.

Oh lord the fist shaking is literally two frames.

did anyone else notice that when homer changed the channel on the TV at the end, nothing on his hand actually moved, he just moved the remote forwards slightly
Why is Homer riding David Hasslehoff? (watch Kung Fury)
found it http://morpheus306.deviantart.com/journal/Simpsons-now-in-HD-update-233741679
Hurts so much to see what the animator's capable of.
Speaking of horrible animation, the bit after the couch gag feels so incredibly forced and is so unfunny/poorly animated that it feels like a FOX exec looked at the whole thing and figured he could improve it with his own brand of shitty uninspired humor.
