This game is nearly meant to be played on a hard difficulty and that radically changes the game for me, a lot more tense as well. And yeah, what would you find non-average for this game?
Every game should be played on the maximum difficulty except games made by Todd Howard. What's not average about the game? Narrative I suppose, and the art direction. The weapons look and feel meatier.

Yeah i won't continue discussing because it seems you don't quite grasp the concept nor history of Wolfenstein and what the development team is actually trying to achieve with this game.

What is the point of playing on easy or normal difficulty settings if you can easily kill or destroy anything that gets in your way? You're not getting the full experience. You might as well use a trainer! What does this have to do with people who play games on the personal computing device? Surely all personal computing device players are the same.
These channels and sites need to stop being PR for the game.
"I am going to judge how the gameplay is based on preview gameplay"
"I am going to judge how the gameplay is based on preview gameplay"
I think you can judge the game based on the 50 minutes worth of gameplay.
The game footage is just a boring looking corridor shooter. I'll wait for a review that isn't just another "X reasons why Y is going to be Z".
These channels and sites need to stop being PR for the game.
I don't get it, these are his personal opinions on the game. The only problem I have with the game so far is that it seems to take itself too seriously. I expected a cheesy game about robo-nazis in the future but the scenes in the concentration camp and the hospital are really uncomfortable.
I don't get it, these are his personal opinions on the game. How is it PR
It seems everywhere there is a new "Top reasons Wolfenstein is the best thing ever" by news sites or random youtube users. It's not really presented as opinion, it's presented as "This is how it is". I'm not strictly speaking of Outsidexbox, but I'm seeing just so many posts and videos on how great the game is like it's a bunch of debate trying to make sure people don't think it's bad.
I think you can judge the game based on the 50 minutes worth of gameplay.
Oops, I vastly underestimated the amount of footage available then.

I'm honestly surprised at the amount of negativity I'm seeing towards it.
i'll remain cautiously optimistic. no expectations = no disappointment.
I try to avoid making impressions about games before actually playing them, but so far I don't think I have seen a single thing about New Order that I don't like.
It could be because it looks really good. I'm honestly surprised at the amount of negativity I'm seeing towards it.
Yes, it could be. But again, it's like the community and games journalism sites are marketing it.
Yes, it could be. But again, it's like the community and games journalism sites are marketing it.
Well yeah, when a game that's coming out soon looks really good, people tend to say things like "this is going to be really good".
I pre-ordered it and I'm gonna have fun with it.
This applies to most modern FPS games but especially to this one: Why is the gun one fucking fourth of the screen?

The Wolfenstein games since RCTW have been like that.
The only Wolfenstein game I've actually played was Wolf3D so fair enough.
I honestly don't get all the hate I keep seeing for this game. I don't expect some super genre bending game, but does it have to be? RTCW wasn't super innovative when it came out but that didn't make it a bad game (it was great). I know this could be complete ass but I've not really seen anything bad about it. The stream of the intro was the worst I've seen and that isn't even when the game kicks off, and it didn't even look bad.
