Personally a driving game of this sort is definitely marked down a lot in my books if they have shit crash physics, and I'm pretty sure Criterion wouldn't have any problems with crash physics since they based a whole franchise off the concept of crashing into shit.

Doubt you were, you just wanted a reason to act cool and hate Origin. There's nothing wrong with origin so why would anybody ignore a possibly good game for it? You use it to store your games like Steam, login, play...?

You do know you can download the game through origin, and then just add the shortcut to steam and play it through there? Unless it's battlefield 3 it won't open the origin client AFAIK.
