Also please tell me how broken the title is on your computer.
That's a cool as hell language, its almost mathematical in terms of the symmetry between symbols.
Hell its almost something you'd expect to be extraterrestrial.

Re: video: i love seeing scripts/languages like this. I've always thought about ways to "fix" English, but my attempts always turn it into either romanized Japanese or German. i should learn more about languages.

Browser nailed that title down, only people that'll have issues are those who are still using W7 (because it uses older font sets that don't include newer unicode).
Also like how its not technically an alphabet, a language based off pure scripture is neat but it does look a bit confusing at first, but I'd put that down to being brought up with latin everywhere.
i know of inuktitut's existence thanks to meatsleep before the project died
never actually looked into it beyond that though. title works fine on my linux though.
Working fine on W7 here.
You've both likely got extra language packs installed then, normally it'd only show latin unicode with none of the additions.

Looks like it's broken on my comput- Wait, that's what it's supposed to look like?
Turkish is cool.
Latin letters, consonants and vowels make singular sounds that dont change, so reading is not an issue. Spelling is not an issue (rarely in words we took from French/Czech/whatever European). Genders and conjugation dont exist, conjugation maybe very little by things we got from Persian.
You just put together suffixes until the word makes sense. You put the verb at the end, which is sort of a rule but not obeying isnt an issue, just makes you sound weird, the rest of the word order is not an issue. (Maybe unspoken rules of habit that are not very important, just sounding weird.)

I tried to learn a bit of Turkish. It actually seemed simple enough that if someone were to put in the effort, they could become nearly fluent by just teaching themselves.
Khoisan is probably my favorite language:

Linguistics is cool as fuck and I recommend everyone take a intro class at university at least once. You not only learn general rules and patterns of language building and history, but you also learn psychological processes that dictate what makes a word sound right, or how/why you can mispronounce a word at times.
