No, just no.
You sure?
those animations are a little bit stiff.
Seems they don't have mo-cap equipment. Considering though, it's pretty darn good. [editline]20th November 2010[/editline]
No, just no.
No, just no.
Is it possible to play like one of those awesome teleporting aliens?
The fade? Yes.
Wait since when did the Fade teleport? I thought he was just supposed to move fast.
I bought it because friends in the alpha said it was good and all that.
I was in the alpha and I told you it was as broken as fuck. Anyway, first thing you do when you start it is to host your own damn server with a max of 8 people and boom you enjoy the game.
The fade? Yes.
How does the teleportation work ingame?
How does the teleportation work ingame?
Mouse2 shows you a placeholder Fade model at your crosshair, you can still move around and attack while this is active. Once you rightclick you instantly teleport there and are ready to slice and dice. You can place the fade model within your line of sight and near marines it will turn towards the closest marine. All in all it is quite easy and innovative, even if it does seem weird at first. It is what the original NS Fade blink was but better, goldSRC (HL1 engine) was to constricting to do this properly and resulted in loads of stuck issues. That was also the main reason it was turned into a teleporting fade that look like it was flying instead...
Wait since when did the Fade teleport? I thought he was just supposed to move fast.
The fade used to teleport in NS1, but due to goldsrc being weird and players getting stuck everywhere, they decided to just give them what you remember.

Do you know if this will require Steam once released?
Possibly, it's already being used on steam for those who pre-purchased it.

Steam is so awesome for indie devs
