I love the guy at 6:20 I hate people who act like that.
I am confused
I just started laughing when the cop went "do you need rescue?" to the kid
Um, yes? The car was moving less than 5mph and it hit someone standing on the sidewalk. Getting hit by a cycler is really no different. Sure, you probably wouldn't turn upside down and hit the concrete, but you would still stumble and almost fall over. My point was that the amount of force exerted on the kid by the car was nearly the same as that of a slow moving bicycle. The reason he toppled over is because it's a fucking car. It has a much larger surface area, and his whole body laid on the hood of the vehicle before toppling to the sidewalk. How he fell and how much physical damage was actually dealt to his body was no different than if you or I simply tripped on our shoe laces while walking and fell.
Ohhhh wait yeah - I just searched for the full clip. Been a while since I last saw it, sorry for jumping the gun there.
OH MY GOD I CAN'T BELIEVE ALL THESE VIDEOS WERE CAPTURED ON FILM CAUGHT ON CAMERA HEY
Ugh, I used to laugh at fail compilations but I often now find myself recoiling in horror at all of the permanent and life altering injuries in each one. Even the ones that seem innocuous, like the woman jumping into the creek and falling over at 6:30, sometimes and more often than not tear ligaments and break bones. Knowing this kind of ruins the "ha-ha, they got hurt" aspect of it.
I love the guy at 6:20 losing his shit because he filmed it, and his friend is acting like it's no big deal. The cop barely even hit the guy with his car, it was probably no different than getting hit by someone on a bicycle with how fast he was actually going. I hate people who act like that.
If it wasn't for a young skater the cop could have possibly even killed someone with that bump. So the cop made a pretty big mistake for which he should immediately apologize at least.

The kid hitting the concrete caused more physical trauma than the vehicle hitting him.
is that moog at 3:21
Honestly, the guy got out of the car to see if the guy was hurt. Unfortunately, because of his position, people probably are going to make a much bigger deal out of it.
Actually, that video got posted here on its own a while back and the thread turned into a big "police brutality" debate.
