It's really kinda upsetting hearing them talking about someone shot in the head. And no, I don't mean what Kinki said. Just knowing that someone was there with a bullet in there head made me feel a little uncomfortable. But I do love videos like these. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I like seeing what it's really like in a combat situation, not the stuff that happens in the video games.
That was a good reaction by the entire squad.
The guy that got shot was ANA, Afghan National Army. They train with, and are trained by the ISAF forces, but apart from that usually don't have any affiliation. They have quite a reputation for doing all kinds of drugs on duty, aswell as rape within the units to show superiority over others. They're nowhere near the standards of professional soldiers in the more civilised countries.
When you put it like that I don't really care about him anymore.
Why he stands in the open in the beginning?
Do I need to define the word AMBUSH for you?
That was pretty badass Love it that the cameraman goes back for the guy's frag grenade

They said he was alright and even able to walk (The guy shot in the head) So right then they know it's not as serious as it could be... Kind of funny hearing them talk about sticky bushes and bees with AK rounds being shot at them from 40 yards away though, Think they've been there a while?

Almost shot the guy infront of him. I dont know much but shouldnt they supress and flank the enemy as fast as they can, because they could of just run off and hide after that. They retreated (per-say) instead, if the ambushers were a little smarter they would of had people on the other side to, then you would be in a cross fire. But thery're pretty stupid so they put 4 people on one side and probally sat in the same spot allowing for grenades and fire to come at them.

Their reaction time does them credit
I'm pretty sure soldiers know more about tactics than you do
dem tactix
I'm pretty sure soldiers know more about tactics than you do
which is why i said " i dont know much," but soliders make mistakes to you know, or they have a choice, or they are following orders, or they are following tactics. if he was using an AK it wouldn't have jammed 3-4 times :smug:

Guy was kind of a bad ass, running back and fourth

The ambushers were all lined up front and the soldiers were coming from behind, heading right down the road to some place.
if he was using an AK it wouldn't have jammed 3-4 times :smug:
Did you see how fast he unjammed that thing? Barely a problem.

fuckn treees
Guy might have just been grazed by the bullet. That could knock him unconscious, he also could have been hit in the cheek or had it glance off the helmet. Also there was another squad spreading out to the left of their position if you didn't notice.
I read in the Marine Corps Times they did drugs on duty and pretty much none of them ever even tried but holy fuck please tell me you're exaggerating about man-on-man rape that's like wild bear culture or some shit
fuckn treees
I was gonna say that.
[del]I also remember reading an article in the MCT about a dude in the marines that was ambushed, got shot in the fucking eye, continued firing at the insurgents while the rest of his squad was trying to get him on the roof safely, and then when he got back home you know what he did he got a fake eye with a fucking EGA on it[/del] most badass man I have heard of for a long, long time [editline]20th December 2010[/editline] http://www.marinecorpstimes.com/news/2009/03/marine_navy_sealbattle_031509w/ never mind, thought he was in the navy but doesn't make him any less badass I remembered this way wrong but still holy fuck
sticky bushes!
I've got to be honest, I would have probably tried to flank them from the left.
