You're 12. Stop acting like you know what the fuck is going on.
It's usually the scout who does the surveying and over viewing of the battle, But i didn't see a scout anywhere, just an obvious platoon commander, and several riflemen.
I don't know which army you're talking about, but I've never heard of scouts on the squad level, and the guy with the camera wasn't a platoon commander, he was the squad leader.
I read in the Marine Corps Times they did drugs on duty and pretty much none of them ever even tried but holy fuck please tell me you're exaggerating about man-on-man rape
that's like wild bear culture or some shit
Man-on-man rape is a common occurence in the middle east, they do it to assert dominance.
I'm pretty sure soldiers know more about tactics than you do
He's right, flanking is the proper procedure in a situation like that. Flanking is done on a platoon level or higher though, so while the squad the recorder is following stays put and puts down suppressing fire, you can be pretty sure there's another squad flanking left. At that distance a flanking wouldn't take more than 5 minutes tops, and the video goes on for 7 minutes.
Also, that guy really needs to get some oil in that weapon.
Almost shot the guy infront of him. I dont know much but shouldnt they supress and flank the enemy as fast as they can, because they could of just run off and hide after that. They retreated (per-say) instead, if the ambushers were a little smarter they would of had people on the other side to, then you would be in a cross fire. But thery're pretty stupid so they put 4 people on one side and probally sat in the same spot allowing for grenades and fire to come at them.
For the Taliban it's basically sit somewhere waiting for a Coalition patrol, do as much damage as possible then fuck off before they call in air. The US/ANA didn't counter attack because the Taliban's route of retreat could be sewn with IEDs and the likes.
if he was using an AK it wouldn't have jammed 3-4 times :smug:
And he wouldn't have been able to hit the broad side of a barn.
Did you see how fast he unjammed that thing? Barely a problem.
It can mean life or death depending on the situation. Imagine if an insurgent were stood 20m from him with his rifle raised, a jam would be pretty much fatal if it weren't for the rest of his squad. However, M4/M16s don't tend to jam THAT much unless they're poorly maintained.
Why does everyone seem to have the common misconception that AKs are inaccurate? You can hit a brick at 600 meters if you know how to aim.

They're not the most accurate things under the sun for sure though.

They aren't inaccurate, at all.
