I hope Trump takes a backseat with the decision making if this actually ends up becoming an invasion.
I mean, it works. IIRC in the UK and USA to stop a biker they'd get a lot of squad cars and essentially force him to stop by surrounding him. But that might not have even been available in this situation
Sorta the same situation but in USA with a guy on a harley, he later died according to the description.
Berkeley County Sheriff's Office have released dashcam video showing a high speed police chase last week. The chase lasted about 6 minutes and reached speeds as high as 112 miles per hour. A police cruiser then makes contact with the motorcycle, and moments later the driver loses control and crashes. He was not wearing a helmet at the time and died at the scene, despite officer's attempts to revive him. An investigation into the incident is currently underway.

local news keep saying how "controversial" this is but I really don't get it
This baffles me considering Estonia is not even close to political correctness of the Western Countries (See UK, Germany, US), yet people indeed find it "absurd" around here. Pretty much to everyone I've talked to, at work, friends, family, everyone agrees that police acted pretty justified [editline]25th April 2017[/editline]
BMW S1000RR? Geez, that thing is fast as shit. Cops are lucky he was a bad rider otherwise that would have been one hell of a chase.
he picked a really retarded road for trying to evade cops, considering he could've gone to Pirita. The reason he got busted is he braked on the roundabout, and that road over there is pretty residential.

This is why I've heard of some departments here in the US having a no-chase policy for motorcycles, if they don't just have a blanket no-chase policy. A good rider will outrun you so it's best to gather what info you can and catch them when they aren't on the bike, and a bad one is just going to kill themselves or someone else while running from you.
To be honest, I'm in a mixed bag over this. While it is really dangerous to perform such action, with the haste the overspeeding bikers "work" with they are simply a very big and lethal liability on the road and must be stopped.
Yeah, they're gonna fall off the bike regardless of whether they're helped off of it by a nudge from a cop car. Might as well time that nudge to minimize the injury.
