fixed link, was meant to be bf3, accidently pasted wrong link
Lol i used to do this to people on BF2
One of the many BF2 shenanigans I hope to re-create in BF3
Fucking love the music.
Sounds like a soundtrack from DK64.
DK64 and BF2 popping up in my mind. Double-stalgia
why wont bf3 just let us play caspian border!?
This and cartillery will be loads of fun in BF3. Can't wait to play it :P
I hope Dalian Plant returns.
This is amazing. I hated jet campers they were so fucking useless to the team, especially on Wake Island. You'd have like 10 people waiting for a chopper/jet while I was being useful and getting a boat instead of waiting for 10 minutes then dying after 2.
I think it is petty. I am a jet camper for one reason only. I am one of the greatest pilots to ever pick up a battlefield game. I camp the jets to make sure some idiot does not get one just to crash it or do fuck all for the team on it. I strafe ground targets, bomb tanks and AFV's, and am a great dogfighter. And all the thanks I get is some asshole ramming a jeep into me at the spawn, and getting in the way of me using the greatest weapon in my arsenal.

Ok guys, any actual responses as to why my post is dumb? Didn't think so. Remember, battlefield games are about combined arms combat. That is why they put equipment to laser designate targets in this game. The right person in the jet can make all of the difference. I play a ton of flying games. IL-2 Sturmovik, various flight simulators, the Ace Combat games, and not to mention I have been flying in Battlefield since 1942. I also fly planes in real life, my favorite being an ACA Super Decathlon that I used to get my private pilot certificate. So I think I know what the hell I am talking about here.

Tell that to the eight other people camping the jet spawn

Eh, I am one of the greatest jeep drivers to ever play any of the Battlefield games. I take my squad mates for raids behind enemy lines and I run over infantry. I drive cars in real life and I played various driving simulators like Gran Turismo 5, and I've also played GTA IV and expansions which involves driving to places so I think I'm pretty much the best jeep driver you can get in Battlefield 3, and I've been driving the jeep since 1942. I know what the hell I'm talking about.
Why not just make jets a fucking spawn themselves that can't be enter-able from normally ( at leatst when they first spawn, not if the pilot gets out and / or lands)? Not only does it eliminate all the balls retarded campers but actually encourages them to go out, do shit, and die for a chance at the jet.

and everyone camps on the spawn screen instead
I'm a big fan of the infantry side of BF and I don't really like the vehicles, except troop transports, they are cool. So I am loving this.
and everyone camps on the spawn screen instead
Force spawn after a time limit
Jets are overrated. I preferred to take a jeep for a spin and ramp off of cliffs like the fenced off one at the Russian Base.

Cannot rate this post dumb enough.
Anyway, I applaud the acts in the OP video.
I kinda would like to try a jet..
I mean if you can hover above the ground and just burst into speeds or something, strafe in the air circling around and just lighting up the ground dodging rockets?
Got in twice to a Caspian Border beta but didn't bother camping a jet.

Problem is in the beta every engineer had stingers and AA guns were there, and there were no F-35B's. Jets in BF3 are more of a fast obliteration of ground targets and bug out kinda gameplay. The thing is that you were guns only most of the time and people did not designate targets.

Haha, you haven't met my dad yet then.
I remember this in the first CoD, driving up to teammates then bailing out of the vehicle to kill them. It was fun. :v:
On wake island I would always fly the Chinese jets and just skid across the aircraft carrier killing all the Jet Campers since they were all to stupid to use the AA gun.
Banjo Kazooie is music?
Got into Caspian Border today. I whipped up a tank and just started pushing jets around when people would take off.
[editline]7th October 2011[/editline]
Childish as it may seem, but I was laughing my ass off
god damn why does the screen go all artefact-y when you exit the vehicle
there better be an option to turn that off
Banjo Kazooie is music?
I think it is. Sounds like the music when you fight the balloon dinosaur boss.

Oh, it is DK64 music.
