too much chins
uhhhhh
why is Batman killing anyone a "fuck yeah" thing? or are those guys not killable or something? I'm confused. Batman straight up killing a dude is a bit of an assassination of character imo.
Might not be killing him.
In The Dark Knight Returns, which is the biggest influence on this movie, [sp]Batman is finally fed up with Jokers shit, straight up says "How many people have i murdered by letting you live?" and snaps his neck, not to kill, but to paralyze[/sp]

Like, TDKR is pretty much Batman getting very lenient on his one rule, cause he just straight up starts crippling people.

In The Dark Knight Returns, Batman decided to kill Joker. He almost did, and Joker finished the job for him. Considering this movie has a lot in common with TDKR, I wouldn't be surprised if he decided to snap a few necks.

GODDAMN IT I'M LATE AaronM202 beat me to it
NECKSNAPMAN Retunrsh
it looks better than man of steel that's for sure
mos had some scenes and lines that felt like they were made for trailers and weren't as good in the movie though, hopefully not the case here
I still don't think Gal Gadot makes a good Wonder Woman.

I've never really liked DC's female characters. They always tended to be more sex appeal than anything else (See: Starfire, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Catwoman, Huntress, Wonder Woman, Raven, etc.) Marvel's females are the bee's knees in comparison.
i found this detail neat

On the topic of the neck snap
Snyder said in Entertainment Weekly that [sp]the SuperSoldiers are actually from a dream sequence which Bruce has where he see's Supes as a dictator so that neck snap is an imaginary one[/sp]
Doesn't matter if they are alive or not for his morals but the neck snap discussion is a bit trivial and fruitless anyway since we see split seconds of scenes anyway.
Also those scenes with "steampunk" Batman and "Superman" soldiers (they have his symbol on their sleeves) look like they are taking place in a post-apocalyptic world. Can't it be some kind of vision?
I assumed that some people saw Superman as a god and so they formed a sort of cult to worship him and if that was the case, they'd probably want to fight Batman if he wants to fight Superman.

Kind of a late reply, but Batman has killed several people in the live-action and animated films. I mean, 1939 Batman used a gun and killed dudes ice cold.
Hell, he straight up caps a guy in the head. This movie came out in 2013.

Flashpoint is cheating, Thomas is a ruthless motherfucker. But yeah Batman killed plenty in old stuff, he hung someone from a plane and snapped peoples necks using his feet.

I forgot part of the most important plot point. aaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAA
Just pretend I posted the video from Batman Returns where Batman blows a guy up.

It's not even that, I just don't think Gal Godot is a good person to play her. She isn't tall enough, she isn't buff enough, I just don't think she fits it.
Is Lex played by that actor from The Social Network?
Mark Zuckerberg yea.

what? hell no.
what? hell no.
Marvel has some pretty cool female characters.
And so does DC.
from what i gathered from this trailer:
supes and zod destroy Metropolis' Wayne Tower during their fight, Bruce runs straight into it to save people but loads of people die anyway, so Bruce hates Superman, he thinks he's bad for the world. Lex Luthor plays on this and gets Bats and Supes to fight, probably supplying Bats with Kryptonite. (It appears that Alfred thinks that Supes is good and tries to get Bruce to rethink his position). So Bruce comes out of retirement as Batman (probably retired because Joker killed Robin) and fights Supes, they probably realise half way through the fight that Lex is the real bad guy, team up and take him down, forming the bedrock of the Justice League.
Probably anyway. From the trailers released.
This kinda bothers me. Makes Batman sound dumb and unreasonable. Sure he couldn't save people from the fight but it was clear that Superman was fighting Zod to prevent him from wiping out the entire human race.
what? hell no.
wonder woman was literally created by a bondage fetishist

she also used to have a weakness where she'd lose all her powers if her hands were bound together
I'm not really liking this Lex Luthor.
Gotta say Ben Affleck's looking pretty darn good here. I was one of the people bitching about his casting but I always imagined 'old' Ben Affleck as the casting, I hadn't seen his roles in recent years. And his Bruce Wayne actually seems pretty darn legit.
eisenberg looks completely out of place, it's just awkward

That might be a good subject for Batfleck's standalone movie.
Why does this look like they're shoving in WAY too much material for one movie?
Let's see... Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Lex Luthor. That's like 4 main characters. Gee, what a lot.

Alfred, Lois Lane, Perry White, Mercy, the Senator.
And The Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg, who are apparently making an appearance at some point.
Is that Robert Downey Jr. as Commissioner Gordon or am I just freaking out?
