Is that Robert Downey Jr. as Commissioner Gordon or am I just freaking out?
Jeremy Irons as Alfred, and yeah he weirdly looks like an older RDJ
On the topic of the neck snap
Snyder said in Entertainment Weekly that [sp]the SuperSoldiers are actually from a dream sequence which Bruce has where he see's Supes as a dictator so that neck snap is an imaginary one[/sp]
Where did you read this ? i cant find any evidence of this on the internet especially not looking for the Entertainment Weekly interviews, this was never said- anywhere.
Is it just me or Do I Like Superman in these two movies but not Ma and Pa Kent?
Michael Ironside as Alfred, and yeah he weirdly looks like an older RDJ

That's Jeremy Irons. Michael Ironside is the commander in starship troopers

That's not Sam Fisher :v: that's Jeremy Irons, aka Scar from Lion King and Hans Gruber's brother.

Christ all these DC irons are confusing. If it helps my excuse is that Ironside voiced Darkseid in the Superman and JL animated series, hopefully they bring him back if Darkseid is in the films

Well, I can say I'm much more excited for the movie now. I'm not entirely sold on Jesse Eisenberg's Luthor (still). His voice, and his look- and I'm not talking about hair- just don't really appeal to me as 'Luthor'. But, I'll wait until I see his performance in full.
I was skeptical of Ben Affleck, mostly due to my unfamiliarity with him as an actor, but he seems to suit the role well.
I'm not sure what to think about Wonder Woman just yet. She seems to look fine in the trailer, but as some have said Gal Gadot still seems a bit too thin for the character. But it's not as bad as some promotional stills looked.

Feels like we're gonna get a Jason Todd Movie one day
I would love for them to do a movie that expands on where the Bat Family is now. Not only bringing in Red Hood/Jason Todd, but also Nightwing and Batgirl/Oracle/Barbara Gordon, and going into where it fell apart. That, and it'd introduce Black Mask and expand on Jared Leto's Joker (and therefore the previous Red Hood).
The trailer was absolutely amazing but I'm still worried because the Man of Steel trailers were also amazing but the movie turned out kinda meh.
Outside of Lex Luthor it looks really good.
Looks like it'll cover a lot of time chronologically, wonder how that'll turn out.
So, nobody arguing about the fact that bats just snapped that guys neck ?
if batman kills in this universe it would really destroy his character.

Bottom of page 1, top of page 2.
Hint: [sp]its a dream sequence.[/sp]

if that is true, what a shame.
Tha whole desert sequence would be kind of a waste if its just a dream, imho.
Also, its kinda weird that in this Man of steel sequel, batman is the main character.
eisenberg looks like he'd make a great luthor if he was like, 20 years older

I've searched almost everywhere, Neither snyder or anyone else ever said that.
Considering how much important events of Batman's career they skim over to jump directly to the dark knight rises, I wouldn't be surprised if they decided to go for the same logic as the animated movies where nothing is released in order and they just do things however they feel like.

Did you buy the actual issue of EW? Because that's what I was told it was in.

Speaking of, this is like, straddling the line between heavily influenced by and being a straight up adaption of TDKReturns.

at least on the web page is hard as hell to find it because i cant

You can pretty much find everything snyder said on entertainemt weekly on the internet, and he never lost a single word about that, now we have 2 scenes of batman killing people already (batwing) great... -.-

I didnt see anyone die in the batwing scene.
And he's snapped necks before [sp]see: the book this very movie is obviously based around[/sp], to paralyze, not kill.
I liked the Superman movie
it was good fun, but it didn't hold a candle to Marvels work, I don't think DC ever will, not soon anyways. It did have very serious and obvious flaws though that were pretty uncanny.

MCU is kind of getting stale for me IMO. the movies all have the same formula, and the villains are weak and always a joke. the only reason they are good is because of the novelty of a shared universe and cool main characters. the plots are usually lame though. age of ultron was disappointing

to be fair, at least it has more flavor than DC's movies. Nothing else really like it at the moment. No ones doing good super hero stuff, at least not that big
i just hope it doesn't reach the point of "Too huge, massive drop in quality"

theres only been one DC movie, so i don't think its fair to judge its amount of flavor yet. until suicide quad and BvS come out, of course.
seeing what i've seen through the trailers and man of steel, i think DC movies might actually be better than MCU. though man of steel was flawed, zod and the kyrptonians actually felt like threatening villains and the fight scale was off the roof. of course there was the dumb pa kent scene and superman tore down buildings full of civilians left and right, but it looks like BvS addresses that with scenes of protest and humans being afraid. it looks like it is going continue to improve on the themes they built on man of steel, which is really good because if there was one thing man of steel did right, it was that superman is supposed to be a beacon of hope that helps people despite their hatred for his immense power.
Hopefully this film being successful will mean a bounce back for DC in the cinema front. I love Marvel but there needs to be more variety, And as mentioned it's an interesting take on Batman outside of the Nolan trilogy. I have faith though, Man of Steel was fucking awesome.

I don't really like how they're jumping ahead this far in the universe without any backstory to it. It's like they released The Avenger's first.

You really want another 6 or 7 years worth of Batman origins? It's pretty clear they'll flashback to early/important parts of his career and its still only the start of Supermans journey, as well as the rest of the JL outside of Wondy and Bats.
Anyway having both companies do the same thing would be boring.
here's hoping man of steel is DC's the incredible hulk and BvS is their iron man
