Shit's crazy!!
Jesus Christ
Not a formula one car, but still pretty cool.
not formula one car, those gloria c8fs are glorified go-karts. still damn fast and takes skill, but it's not even a proper formula car, let alone formula one
Wow. Check out the distance between the wheels and the edge of the road around the curves (or rather, the shortage thereof).
Could have been faster.

haha yeah you would've smashed his time EASILY right
That's fucking mental, he comes well close to the sides at some points, if I was in that car it'd be full of shit and piss not even half way through
God damn that was impressive. The car sounded amazing too.
Vroom vroom
if that hit somebody they would liquefy
The car would too. It's a go cart with some go fast body panels and a race prepped street bike engine.
Paved roads, guardrails, men in high visibility vests, what the hell is this? I'll admit at those speeds and narrow roads there is zero margin of error. I still love a good dirt rally or hillclimb though.

I thought those were the kinda things they use in F2/3 though?

Or get torn in half. Happened in Formula 1 in 1977 when a marshal going to put out a fire on a broken down car decided to run across an active racetrack. Got hit by the team car of the one he was going to service, ironically enough, and was torn in half just above the belt line.

Don't worry, in the event of a crash, those cars are designed to basically explode!

This has a bike engine, probably a dedicated hillclimb car.

Didn't the fire extinguisher also hit the driver in the head, killing him instantly?

Yep, the driver was Tom Pryce and happened during the South African grand prix, pretty much decapitated him

Indeed. He then went on to T-bone a third race car and slam them both into the fence at the next corner. The third driver lived, though. The fire extinguisher flew off to do even more damage, too, landing in some parked cars if I remember right.
