"Games aren't fun unless they're 100% different or a completely new IP" - sil 2012
Did you notice how he said "the same" and not "very similar" ? You can have a sequel that is very similar and yet a vast improvement over the last game. That doesn't happen with call of duty, although Black Ops 2 is the closest thing to it in a good while, you have to give it credit for that. There's also how ridiculously overpriced the franchise is, COD isn't jesus in videogame form like it's usually treated as, and that's a legitimate reason to hate it.
I haven't played BLOPS 2
Oh okay, that's why your post is objectively wrong. Let me break it down for you. Compared to other pistols, the executioner is actually pretty bad. It takes multiple shots to fire from a 5 round capacity, has a slow revolver reload, and the damage doesn't even fit the shotgun archetype. In most CoD games you can actually quite easily main pistols, such as the Five Seven, which has a 3 shot kill range out to 50 feet, a much faster reload, high ROF cap, and a 20 round magazine. The Tac 45 is similar, sacrificing magazine capacity for range. The B23R and Kap 40 are the two machine pistols of the game and perform well as primaries as well. I have all the pistols mastered and the executioner is indeed terrible. It offers nothing that other pistols don't. It doesn't have the accuracy of a revolver or the damage of a shotgun, but has the weaknesses of both. For future reference, it would probably be better to atleast try the game you are trying to talk about, rather then just going in and making assumptions.
Ew the reload animations, you don't even see the rounds go in.
The POV is altered. On normal POV, the gun is close enough so that you don't notice. :v:
Wow I knew CoD took no skill but this is a new level 2 shots from a fucking pistol Even a revolver in the trailer only took about 3 shots to somebodys leg
OP your voice is annoying as fuck.
When did call of duty become halo?
Wow I knew CoD took no skill but this is a new level 2 shots from a fucking pistol Even a revolver in the trailer only took about 3 shots to somebodys leg
If you bothered to read the post only two above yours, you'd realize that the "Executioner" is borderline useless compared to a normal pistol.
Wow I knew CoD took no skill but this is a new level 2 shots from a fucking pistol Even a revolver in the trailer only took about 3 shots to somebodys leg
are you trying to tell me you wouldn't go down if i shot you 3 times with a revolver [editline]24th November 2012[/editline]
If you bothered to read the post only two above yours, you'd realize that the "Executioner" is borderline useless compared to a normal pistol.
yeah but he's complaining that it's too strong
If you bothered to read the post only two above yours, you'd realize that the "Executioner" is borderline useless compared to a normal pistol.
It still only takes a tiny amount of bullets to kill somebody Just take the biggest magazine gun available and just run around the map like crazy Always the perfect battle tactic
are you trying to tell me you wouldn't go down if i shot you 3 times with a revolver
no i'd throw a medpack at my feet and 360 quickscope you with my 870 w/ slugs
are you trying to tell me you wouldn't go down if i shot you 3 times with a revolver [editline]24th November 2012[/editline] yeah but he's complaining that it's too strong
What kind of argument is this for a video game

I never did claim it was the best pistol in Black Ops 2, but I did say he is using it completely wrong if he thinks it can be used as a viable primary.
I think TC has a very subtle russian accent.
going on record here I like BLOPS 2. I have a lot of fun in zombies, and when tryhards don't flood the MP I have fun there. but going back to what others have been saying, it's a fucking pistol that's a goddamn shotgun, of course it's not going to be that effective
Jesus Christ op what's with your fov, it's like A hawk eye looking through a fish lens.
I hate getting this gun on CQB gungame it fucking blows and you actually have to have quake-level fps skills to use it. This guy is totally right the gun blows cock.
MW2, BO, MW3, and BO2 are the same game with different textures, sounds, maps, models, killstreaks and weapon stats. If what you're saying is true then with proper mod tools you could create billion new CoDs that "wouldn't be the same game".
If you said MW2 and MW3 are just a rehash I'd agree with you because honestly nothing much changed and IW pricetagged it as "totally new game guys" But you're very wrong with BO1 and BO2, I'd advise you try it out before making stupid as fuck assumptions because honestly you look like an idiot

This is not to say Blops 2 is ugly, just that CoD 2 is really, really nice looking. Gameplay-wise, all Call of duty games have sticked to the same formular since CoD 4, save for World at War that tried - and failed at - shaking it up a little. I would honestly be a lot more fine with Call of Duty if they didn't release a new game every year like they do, instead sticked with one for a couple years. Counter Strike, the other FPS giant, is like, 7 years between releases. Battlefield is a good 2 years between them. Even not counting my personal dislike of how the game plays, I do think it's fucking annoying that they release so often, so the playerbase keep switching over. I genuinely liked MW1 multiplayer, but by the time MW2 came out, it pretty much died completely. After a while, I switched to MW2 to try it, and well. It sucked. Pretty hard. And then the change from CoD 4 releasing maps for free once in a while, to map packs that cost as much as most non-ea mid-budget games do six months after release and you get kicked for not having on some servers are just a plain-out gamebreaking pain in my ass. Oh. And Blops 1 still runs for 45 euro. What the fuck?
It's pretty much a novelty gun, sorta like killing last stand people with flashbangs and so on.
You are playing a bad game on a tiny bad map
You're so cute with your opinions and stuff.
You can quote me on this later on if you want; Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is a good game. It has a singleplayer with interesting elements that, if applied all across the bland modern shooter genre, would certainly improve things a lot. The multiplayer is same old CoD, without the giant balance issues of older ones. As long as you're playing on a map without 30m range that is, in which case SMGs will dominate because in this game SMGs happen to be SMGs, not shotguns.

Hold up right there, boy, this is CoD. Better get the DSR-50 for this one.
When I said the same about MW2 and BO1 I was called an idiot, but when MW3 came out people said yeah you're right about MW2 and BO1 but MW3 is different. Then again for saying the same thing about MW2, BO1 and MW3 and when BO2 came out, people said yeah you're right but BO2 is different. When MW4 or whatever will come out next year I'll say the same (if they'll reskin the game again) and people will again go "yeah MW2, BO1, MW3 and BO2 are the same but MW4 is completely fresh" Tell me what did they change except textures, sounds, maps, models, killstreaks and weapon stats, menus and small things that can be easily changed by a small patch like dropshoting or dolphindive instead of going "play yourself and you will see the difference". And fuck you and your "assumptions". I have >700 hours played in MW2, >240 in BO1 and >430 in MW3. I've tried BO2 and it's still the same game, it just looks different, just like last years, and a year before that. And by the way, there are no "the game sucks because" or "the game is no fun because" in front of every sentence like you people like to read my posts. I'm not saying that. All I'm saying is that, all 4 of those games are actually the same game with a graphic, sound, and weapon mods and new maps and that selling the same game, just reskinned, every year for full price is a ripoff. Seriously look at CoD4 and MW2. Those are different games, even though the core is the same. MW2 is actually a sequel of CoD4. Now look at MW2, BO1, MW3 and BO2. See the difference? I mean really those things are more like expansions and should be priced accordingly. You might as well take Diablo2:Lord of Destruction and call it Diablo3, take Warcraft3: The Frozen Throne and call it Warcraft4, take StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm and call it Starcraft3 and so on.
Wow, the reload. It's like they didn't even try.
I hope you don't think that they are the only ones that do that Valve have been doing that in TF2 for years and Rockstar games also does the same.
30 metres?! Hold up right there, boy, this is CoD. Better get the DSR-50 for this one.
On a 30 m range map SMGs dominate. Most likely improper wording but I'm no native speaker of this language.
Oh my god your voice. Your voice. It makes me wanna stab my ears with a pencil.
On a 30 m range map SMGs dominate. They may be 150 by 150 metres or so big, but they're so cluttered and full of shit that you can't see beyond 25 most of the time. So the presence of .50 cal sniper rifles is ridiculous.
