im waiting for someone to come here and complain about suggesting to kill the deer. They need to be killed anyway, they reproduce hella fast. Over here in Pennsylvania, when a hunter gets a deer permit, they have to meet a quota to kill in an attempt to regulate the population.

I'dd like to see that bitch deer take on some real dogs like mine. One time one of my dogs dragged home a freshly torn off deer head.
Cat was a badass. The dog probably did come a bit too close for comfort to the baby, which is why it dropped to the ground and why the mother attacked. Poor thing though.

It's a male deer, but females can be just as violent if you get near the fawn. Unless you have a good pair of balls on you and you're prepared to get the shit kicked out of you, I'd recommend just trying to scare it off, not go after it trying to beat the shit out of it. Those hooves are powerful. That dog looked like a Bernese Mountain Dog (or at least a mix of it) too. Those are BIG dogs. They get up to about 100 lbs and sometimes more. If that thing got beat up bad, imagine what a female deer could do to a small child who got too close.
If I lived in that neighborhood and had a kid, I would be terrified of the deer. :I

But then you have to remember that female deer don't have anything to grab onto. So unless you manage to just grab its leg or something, which would probably just make it flail harder and kick you in the head or something, there wouldn't be much you could do if it knocked you over.

I would have fucking tackled that deer and break its neck before it even reached my dog if it tried to do that.
If I was there I would have probably shot the deer or beat with a heavy object. The dog didn't do anything and gets his ass kicked when he doesn't really deserve it. I understand the whole instinct to protect its child but what the hell was it doing in the middle of a town in the first place? Fuck that deer.
If that deer did that to my dog, i would of ran over and drop kicked it right in the face.
