The GTX780Ti is several hundred dollars cheaper and yields higher performance than the Titan. That thing is already outdated.
http://www.anandtech.com/bench/GPU13/583 the non Ti edition of the 780 is only like, less than 10 frames away from a titan and not 1000$
the Ti edition of the 780 is like, 10 frames above the titan and also not $1000.
and has shadow play I wish people would stop acting like titan is all that these days, I mean, a 770 will destroy anything it plays really well, why would you buy a 1000$ thing when 600$ less you basically can run anything seriously who the fuck would actually buy 4 titans? http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/partlist/ JUST with the titans that's $3983 and 1000W what's even the point of doing that? especially if most games won't go below 60fps on a 770 alone maybe even a 6xxTi? now one titan?
Well, there's also just benchmark enthusiasts/people with more money than time/people with high refresh rate monitors. I have a 144Hz Asus with a strobe light hack so to keep the fps at or above that I have two GTX780 Hydrocopper Classifieds.
My 8800GT gets about 60fps... at 360x240 :v:
Never seen a Youtube video with that aspect ratio before.
Have one from two years ago.
Is no one running 16:10 in this thread or what?
The video I posted is actually 16:10, my monitor is 2560x1600, youtube doesn't have the aspect ratio, because 16:10 is pretty much on the way out as a format, and youtube has formatted all 16x10 videos into 16:9 when they last updated. this video used to ONLY be 2560x1600: now it's every flavor of 16:9 after the update.
the Ti edition of the 780 is like, 10 frames above the titan and also not $1000.
At the resolutions they're playing at, titans will probably perform better, due to the extra VRAM

Battlefiled 4 Looks much better
it's really all about how it looks in the distance. sure character models are better but how much do they matter when most of the game takes place at 100 meters from others and that's bf2 on low-medium settings lol
Say what you will, but arma looks amazing from a distance The main issue with that Video is terrible youtube compression and god awful camera movement.
This is faked, arma games cant run faster than 20 fps regardless of gpu, it's an universal law.
sweet, so I can run it on a calculator then
I really like how the ArmA engine renders nature, especially forests but everything else, especially animations look pretty bad.
I've always wondered if the Arma engine is really just awful at it's roots.
surprisingly underwhelming, but it still looks really good tbh.
Would be cooler with Crysis and a few of these Photorealistic mods. [editline]19th November 2013[/editline] [t]http://img4.abload.de/img/2pblu.jpg[/t][t]http://extreme.pcgameshardware.de/attachments/542210d1335391601-photorealistic-crysis-best-graphic-mod-ever-seen-2n9gy7a.jpg[/t]
Lol what the fuck at 1:06 it just looks like someone pasted a picture of a rocket and made it move.

[editline]19th November 2013[/editline]
Battlefiled 4 Looks much better
I would so play a game of angry accountants beating the shit out of each other with office equipment.
Worst particle effects ever...

if you want in-game 1440p footage of something that actually looks good:
if you want in-game 1440p footage of something that actually looks good:
Holy fuck my ears man
Holy fuck my ears man
i don't think they've realised that they should probably not have every single car on the track outputting the same volume of noise yet just for comfort's sake. the first lap is always painful
I came like 28 times while watching this video. Wow.
Worst particle effects ever...
They're okay bullet debris and smoke is well done. bullet muzzeflashes though look like someone got a yellow blob on photoshop and abused the blur tool.
They're okay bullet debris and smoke is well done. bullet muzzeflashes though look like someone got a yellow blob on photoshop and abused the blur tool.
imo you have it the wrong way round, arma 3 muzzleflashes are actually pretty realistic especially at night while the other particle effects aren't particuarly good. Arma is just one of those games where it can look really amazing in certain situations while also being incredibly fugly in others, sorta similar to the stalker games.
[t]http://simhq.com/forum/files/usergals/2013/03/full-7278-52834-arma3_2013_03_06_20_57_36_98.png[/t]
the background of that image is just gross. [editline]20th November 2013[/editline] the precise moment where i was like "wow this reminds me of bf2". i spent a lot of time sniping in bf2 so this gave me memories lol
Worst particle effects ever...
If you think this you have never played ArmA II.

I hope they work on the scope... Red Orchestra 2 got it right, IMO.
