Are you as knowledgeable in guns as in say, RC helicopters? I bet you wouldn't know the names of 2 different models, or even care. The only ways you would know that it's not a MINIMI or an M249 is if you know what the name of the MG is by heart, know that Canada doesn't employ use of the MINIMI or M249, or can tell by the very blurred structural differences of the gun. Sound like gun nerd to me.
I'm not even talking about specifics, I'm talking about the basest of distinctions such as "those don't look like the ones America uses." Even if you didn't know an apple was called an apple or an orange was called an orange you'd still be like "those aren't the same". I didn't know that was a C9 until I looked it up but I was able to tell that it was not an American weapon.
Its like arma but alot less clunky ;) still a very epic find
Oh sure you can.
Yeah, shooting a LMG like that is pretty simple to fuck somebodies life up with. It's just fire and forget. Suppress.
Badass? He was standing still on the same spot, shooting blindly (he didn't even check the iron sight) on the "enemy", wasting ammo. If that was me I would fucking rush and kill them one by one, or sneak behind them. EDIT: That was my 14 year old brother. We share computers and I forgot to log out, apologizes.
You're 15. I smell fail attempt to save yourself.
Good quality for a helmet cam. Reminds you of how things really are compared to action movies. [editline]November 24[/editline] I couldn't tell myself, but was anyone that was ambushed actually shot?
That was :ohdear: I wonder how it turned out... [editline]25th November 2010[/editline] Also made me want to play ArmA 2. :v:
Badass? One's body does not have the jelly-like regenerative effects of a Call of Duty character.
EDIT: That was my 14 year old brother. We share computers and I forgot to log out, apologizes.
Sure it was.
I didn't know that was a C9 until I looked it up but I was able to tell that it was not an American weapon.
How? [editline]25th November 2010[/editline] Without any prior knowledge on the differences between American and Canadian weapons, how could a normal person tell it's not American?
this video threw the idea of me joining the army out the window sorry canada :smith:
Kicked my intention of joining into max overdrive :patriot:

This is the first time I watched a real video of soldiers in action up close, and I say ArmA 2 did a good job of making the sounds realistic.
http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=3ac_1181603079 is pretty good too.

Man, i can't imagine the feeling these guys are experiencing when this happens. They must be so on edge every single second they aren't back at base. Much respect for those who go out there and do this.
I never said that.
You implied it.
When that dude threw something towards the camera guy I felt like I was playing a video game for a second
I thought "SHIT, GRENADE-oh wait."
Oh man, this is just like Counter-Strike! :v: :ohdear:
My heart was pounding the entire ambush. By far the most intense helmet cam footage I have seen to date. I could not handle that.
That was AWESOME. I WANNA JOIN THE US ARMY SIGN ME Up!
Go ahead, sign up, you won't make it past training. Good to see that were kicking ass. :canada:
How? [editline]25th November 2010[/editline] Without any prior knowledge on the differences between American and Canadian weapons, how could a normal person tell it's not American?
By using their eyes and simple deduction. [editline]25th November 2010[/editline]
You implied it.
That's what you think.

When you get shot, you just need to duck for a few seconds and you'll be automatically healed, right? When you die, you'll instantly respawn back in the base, right?
Wow that really gets the blood pumping.
he should have got slight of hand no but seriously though that was fucking crazy i'm glad i didn't see anyone (Canadian) die :ohdear:
Why'd I expect one of the guys to pop-up with an RPG and blow the fuck outa the terrorists. Maybe I'm just insane.
Its not loading.
If I was in that situation, I would shit out my heart
An M16 is an M16. A C7 is not an M16. And a C9 is not a M249, nor is a M249 a MINIMI. If they're variations then they're not the same gun.
That's not what variation means.

To those complaining that he was blind firing, sometimes he was (as suppressive fire), other times he was aiming down the sights but the camera couldn't really portray that.
